The Collar
-------------------------

A little boy got on the bus, sat next to a man reading a book, and
noticed he had his collar on backwards.

The little boy asked why he wore his collar that way. The man, who was
a  priest, said, " I am a Father."

The little boy replied, "My Daddy doesn't wear his collar like that."

The priest looked up from his book and answered, "I am the Father of
many."

The boy said, "My Dad has 4 boys, 4 girls and two
grandchildren and he doesn't wear his collar that way."

The priest, getting impatient, said, "I am the Father of hundreds" and
went back to reading his book.

The little boy sat quietly thinking for a while, then leaned over and
said,"Maybe you should wear your pants backwards instead of your
collar."

Good morning, men.  Would have expected a jam for Holy Thursday.  A Good Friday jam just doesn't seem appropriate.
Morning Bean, you say that as if you believe cigars to be a sin?
Quite the contrary.  Good Friday is not supposed to be a "fun day" with shopping and smoking and whatnot.  You get it?  Or do I have to slip you a GFY as a convinsah!

The price of cigars. My DGAF quotient. How much I wish I was still in bed. The usual. What's up with you, T?
Just my penis.

Don't you feel a little odd walking around the office like that? Sounds like an HR incident in the making.
Sorry to say that it's hardly noticeable.

Ahhh. So, everyone's just disappointed then.
Not at all.  It serves my needs.
Fixed it
It still very much does.

You mean, in the right (or left) hands, a petite corona smokes just fine.
It's not about the RG.

Does sbarro actually have stand alone restaurants?  I've only ever seen them in malls and travel plazas.
We have one in the Fargo mall and I know we have one in Moorhead, not sure where it is tho.
yeah, I've seen them in malls, but I've never seen a stand alone Sbarro restaurant, like an Olive Garden or Red Lobster.  (loosely using the term "restaurant" here)
Shaun thinks Taco Bell is a good place to eat, so those other places are 5 star fine dining. They have metal utensils and all.
Quick and easy, I like my food how I like my women!

Time to get serious about lunch.
I see TBell in my future - meeting some former coworkers for lunch.
Bean Burritos Baby!!!
Love those damn Chili Cheese Burritos, always get one of those...then some nachos and one of the new menu items/or the classic Cheesy Gordita Crunch.
:P
That's that fine Fargo Mexican cusine!  Just wait till he starts with the fine Italian of Olive Garden.
Olive Garden would actually be great.  I was imagining Sbarro.
Ate at an Olive Garden while we were traveling, shit was awful except for salad and breadsticks.  Nothing with Darden Restaurant Group attached to the name is fit to eat IMHO.  And now they bought Lonestar Steakhouse and ruined it.
+1,000.  Lonestar was one of my favorite chain steakhouses, and now they suck mighty canal water.

Short Stories up.  A little misleading, they have "Hemingway's" as a title, but it's actually the Short Story Hemingway.  If I'm not mistaken the actual Hemmingway is a 7 or 8" long perfecto looking thing.
Several vitola's in the Hemingway line I believe.  Short Stories are gone and shitty Nubs up now

Yep and that is because Darden bought them out and immediately destroyed it.  Per Beans correction I meant Longhorn not Lonestar.

A "blood moon" is expected to make a brief appearance Saturday morning for the shortest lunar eclipse of the century.

At 6:16 a.m. ET, the "bright full moon will turn a shady red," NASA said in a press release. The phenomenon will last a mere five minutes.
Early-risers in eastern Canada will have a chance of seeing the beginning stages of the spectacle just before sunrise. If skies are clear, the moon will appear low in the west of the sky, NASA said.

While there may be a certain satisfaction with the murder spree, (depending on victims chosen), I would recommend the scotch and cigar combination as it's less messy and is less frowned upon (slightly) by the local constabulary.

This is a truly fucked-up day.

Damn, Bret. It's not like you're being crucified or something... or are you(metaphorically)?
Feels like it.  I got a minor scourging I didn't deserve, but I can deal.  Now it's just workload.  And stress.  And I'm tired.  And I hate my job.  And my leg hurts.  And my shoulder hurts.

Fuck it.  I'll re-grow some balls and stop whining now.  Sorry.
Good for you, sounded for a minute there that the pussywhipd crew was rubbing off on you.
Yeah, I know.  It suddenly smelled like fish and Subway around here and knew I was in trouble.  It's okay now, I put my big boy pants back on and bummed a cigarette off a friend.  I'm straightened out now.
Good to know, those dips on the E side sometimes are hard to pull out of.

And now they bought Lonestar Longhorn Steakhouse and ruined it.
I agree.
0yh, I thought it was Lonestar (which has gotten downright nasty in the last few years)  but actually was the Longhorn chain?  then, Lonestar has imploded all by itself then.
http://www.bizjournals.com/dallas/news/2014/01/06/texas-land-cattle-lone-star.html (http://www.bizjournals.com/dallas/news/2014/01/06/texas-land-cattle-lone-star.html)
Interesting, they had some help!  Thanks Mark!
Good steak places are few and far between these days.  When it comes to meat around here you're best served by a handful of great BBQ places.
Unless you go with something like Ruth's Chris or the like, you're dealing with glorified hamburger.
That Darden bunch bought Capital Grill too so I am sure they will quickly fuk it up.  We always really liked Sullivan's a lot which actually belonged to Longhorn but it is now part of another chain.   Hardly any such thing as a good local steakhouse anymore.

Police in Central Texas help round up buffalo that jumped fences, roamed into neighborhood
Published April 03, 2015Associated Press

ROUND ROCK, Texas –  A buffalo that roamed away from home has been recaptured after being cornered by police in Central Texas in a chase through a residential area.

Round Rock police were dispatched Friday morning when the owner reported the buffalo jumped some fences at a rural property and fled.

Patrol car video shows officers with flashing lights chasing the buffalo as it gallops along sidewalks, on grass and into streets.

Officers managed to secure the buffalo, safely returning the animal to its home.

Expensive to ship!!!!  I paid $4/pound for these which is really high but they will be much cheaper and bigger in about 2 weeks, probably around $2.50-2.75.    We are fortunate to have a good supplier here locally but they come from Louisiana by truckloads.

I order some stuff from the Cajun Grocer.

Outside with a Four Kicks corona gorda and a ST Mokah, cheers!
I'm glad somebody's enjoying the afternoon.

45 minutes to go here.

Well, then the hour-plus commute.
Sorry to hear it, brother.  I hope the work part had slowed down a bit for you.
It's slowing down now.  Been an unpleasant day.  But it's almost over.
Well glad you made it through!

Sorry you have your differences but everything aside, those crawfish looked damned good.  I don't think you can tell whether or not they were cooked properly from a photo.  You made me go check out that photo again though.  And now I'm hungry again.  ;)
