Hi Tony, just left the RB patio ... a good night ... great conversation ... good beers ... a little chilly, but still enjoyable.  Started out with a tasty PDR Sungrown torpedo, hot chick came along, it was her birthday, offered her a cigar (Arganese Maduro toro) ... which she accepted, enjoyed & shared with good friend ... had a good time. Blessed Holy Week to you & Happy Easter.

Strong Man's Bet
-------------------------

A strong young man at a construction site was bragging that he could out do anyone in a feat of strength.  He made a special case of making fun of one of the older workmen. After several minutes, the older worker had enough.

'Why don't you put your money where your mouth is,'  he said.

'I  will bet a week's wages that I can haul something in a wheelbarrow over to that building that you won't be able to wheel back.

'You're on, old  man,' the braggart replied.  Let's see you do it.'

The old man reached out and grabbed the wheelbarrow by the handles.

Then, nodding to the young man, he Said,

'All right, Dumb Ass, get in.'

Good morning Chip, Dave, Scott, and Tony. Working on a EPC 2nd and coffee here. It's a work day for me, doing a concrete repair here after I get a load of multch for the biker lady. Tore out the old broken parts of my driveway last night, gotta get the materials later, next week I need to find a load of dirt to fill along the driveway edges.

Former NFL QB Eddie LeBaron dies at age 85

LeBaron played at Pacific for coach Amos Alonzo Stagg and also helped lead the Tigers to an undefeated season in 1949.

He later served as a U.S. Marine in the Korean War and was awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star for heroism.

LeBaron played 11 seasons in the NFL for Washington and Dallas. He threw for 13,399 yards and 104 touchdowns and was selected to four Pro Bowls.

He later served as general manager for the Atlanta Falcons from 1977 to 1982 and was the league's Executive of the Year in 1980. He also served on the NFL's Competition Committee.

Stubborn Bastige don't you know tomorrow is Cigar Semana Santa and you are supposed to find a bargain!?

SAN MARCOS (KXAN) — When people hear Black Friday, they automatically think: shopping. But when it comes to Easter weekend for people from Mexico, it means it is time to shop. Thousands will spend Semana Santa, or Holy Week, all across Texas to find a bargain

Doesn't matter, buy whichever ones you want, as long as the total is over $125.

Interesting deal on La Antiquedad at CigarKing.

http://www.cigarking.com/la-antiguedad-10-packs/

Basically you get free shipping and a free 4-pack of La Duena with the purchase of a 10-pack. Sweeter is if you buy 2 and get over $125 there's a $20 cash back
But what needs to happen is they throw in a 4-pack of the LD's with EVERY 10 pack you guy, and give you the $20 off for over $125.  $3.81 a stick.  Oh yeah..

Yep, adds a 4-pack for each 10-pack when they are different vitolas and $20 off. So you can get 10 Corona Grande and 10 robustos with 8 La Duena robustos for $106.90 free ship

Good morning everyone.  I've been and still am having computer problems, so after being frustrated, I've just haven't been in the mood to be on the computer (ugh). I've also had an ear infection for the past 3 weeks, and that's also bummed me out, so I've been just watching tv and taking meds.  I haven't been able to hear out of my right ear for the past 2 1/2 weeks.  Other than that, everything is fine if you don't count fighting with the wife... :)
I recommend you just keep the wife on your right side and you'll get along a lot better.  Good to see you, BD.
Good to find out Tony is a wife relations expert! ::)
I was thinking of how best to capture that...lol

Hey, I'm still "married" after 17 years (29 years together).  As expert as anyone.
Being a pussy and saying Yes Mam I will vacum as soon as I get the dinner dishes washed and kids to bed does not qualify for much.
I'm not saying that my way is the right way.  I just find it easier to keep the peace and bide my time until the good Lord finally has mercy and takes me.

Because I was getting the milk for free.
....and you've been paying ever since...not to mention milk situation has changed.

37 yrs in July.  Been great for me.  No real complaints, since I wasn't overly optimistic about a "blue sky marriage".  Also, I'm still a rookie.

8 bags of mix is not concrete it is just mix till you add water and stir so that does not indicate it is mixed and poured.  Jeez man be specific! :)

Hey, I'm still "married" after 17 years (29 years together).  As expert as anyone.
Not much behind you. April 7 will be 26 years married, 28 together.
Rookies!
Indeed.  30 yrs this fall. Seems like 100 10.
37 yrs in July.  Been great for me.  No real complaints, since I wasn't overly optimistic about a "blue sky marriage".  Also, I'm still a rookie.
I've been married for 39 years - just not to the same woman.
So what is the most wives you had at any one time since you got 39 years but not to one?

I had no illusions, or delusions, either.  But after reading the horror stories around here, I obviously got damned, fucking lucky.
This summer will put me at the 40 Year mark to the same one.
And are you reasonably happy?
Depends on the time of day.

I have 8 - 80# bags of concrete mix in my driveway, a Cusano Cuban (CC) robusto and water while I wait.
Giving someone cement shoes today, Deano?  Gonna drop them in the canal?

While you wait? Unless you've invented the best thing ever, that concrete isn't going to mix and pour itself.
it's IN the driveway, that means it's mixed poured, now finished to match the existing, and covered in wet burlap.
8 bags of mix is not concrete it is just mix till you add water and stir so that does not indicate it is mixed and poured.  Jeez man be specific! :)
Okay Okay. thanks for straightening me out.
I got it done in time to enjoy my dinner date tonight, but she said she'd be early, just not sure how early.

Ooops! There he goes!

I have 8 - 80# bags of concrete mix in my driveway, a Cusano Cuban (CC) robusto and water while I wait.
No Christmas bonus for Dean this year.  His status reports aren't accurate.
Hey! I am retired! I no longer need to be specific!
Perhaps, but failure to do so can lead to unintended consequences.  Like getting hazed on the Banter.  Or in-laws showing up to kick your ass.
Drunken brothers, SIL's, and nephews are harder to deal with than husbands. btw - the husband stopped me Tuesday, put his hand out, said thank you, wished me well, and said they were both happy now. Imagine that!
Still don't let your guard down, there's lot's of alligators swimmin' in the water you're splashing in.
Cougars in the trees, gators in the water...it's a veritable theme park down there.
That is what people go to Florida for...

I'm out, busy.
Enjoy!!
Way to take us to 18, Sam.
So it's possible I actually accomplished something today?  Damn, come 4:30, I'm taking off and heading home!
Me too, but I think I'll stop off at Churchill's for a cigar and a beverage....just to let the traffic clear.
Except that's not for another two hours...
But you are California Cool like Joe! 8)

Alright I'm outta here boys, going to see if they have any Victory at Sea left at Joe Canals. I now travel with an empty growler
Happy Growler Filling Fish
That Fish is hooked

....hah, I crack myself up sometimes!
Growler of VaS and 6-pack cans of Sculpin
So that has you covered for tonight and tomorrow...
Hopefully there's something of interest on tap by me next week and I can fill a growler for the herf, we may need the big table this time!

He'd better not walk in without one

Sure as hell, retired and lost 60 pounds.  I did not know that but no wonder they are all repeats.
He also dropped some comments about some girl and her eating disorder via Twitter, show was soon cancelled.

Done with work for this week, heading out for a beverage or two and a cigar, then on to the airport and homeward.  Later all.
Have a safe trip home.  And congrats on 9000.
Ditto, safe travels home!
