Great morning to all.  Such a busy day yesterday I never even got my free doughnut.  Sheesh.
Look at the bright side of things.  It's the start of the new diet.  Morning Tony.
Good morning, Mikey.  There was quite a bit of bourbon drinking with the boss last night.  A doughnut would have just added some empty calories to the mix.
So you're in the running for a promotion?  ....or didn't you put out?
Running to keep my job.  My boss is doing the same.  On my way home from an evening of bourbon drinking, I discovered the following article which negated most of what we had been discussing:

Anyone else do the Stogie Boys football picks pool? Just logged in to check out my performance last week, and it turns out that I won. And the only game I missed? The Browns. Good thing I always make them my 1 point choice, no matter what, since they're so damn unpredictable. Lol
Nice! Did you win anything or is it a season-long thing?
Weekly prize for top 3 is a sampler, a lighter and a cutter. I'll let you know specifics when I get my winnings. I also won once 2 or 3 years ago. Got a Xikar lighter and a Stinky ashtray.
Man, this site should do something like that.  Fucking place blows.

We don't have the problem at home, just at the office.  It was down for two days about three weeks ago, and now again.  I'd say we have an outage every 2 - 3 months.  "Business Class".  Yeah, right.

Morning, muchachos. Did I really order 60 cigars yesterday? It's all a haze.
Morning Raz. What'd you get?
CLE Connies and some Sancho Panza coronas that Tex recommended.  60 cigars at about two-fitty a stick and allegedly there'll be a $20 gift card in the box.
Which means we gotta start looking for the next thing for you to buy.
He could buy a new tv for BD. I hear he's been looking.

Yeah, I used my old $20 gift card and got a replacement with the purchase.  Bad thing is it takes forever to find a good enough deal at the Sister to use your gift card.

20 Sancho Panza Double Maduro Cornas with a $20 gift card add-on and 25 La Riqueza Robustos for me on that deal all for $134 FS.

F'n phones and internet out again at the office.  We're fed up and getting a T1 line.  F'n Time Warner.  Can you imagine if there was a Time Warner Airlines?
I thought Comcast bought out Time Warner? That may be the problem.
I think they tried to but it was either blocked, or still in regulatory hell.
Never even made it to regulatory....just general hell.

Haven't bought a new one since we moved into our house over 10 years ago. Wife wants a newer flat screen one, but the one we have still works perfectly, despite being horribly out of date. Have a hard time buying something to replace something else that still works great.

Speaking of wardens, I was cleaning crap our yesterday and found a box of some sort of little ugly Chinese baskets, could tell the box was old but looked like the baskets had never been out of it.

When the warden got home asked her wtf they were and why we have them.....  She said they are cute little baskets and we got them for a wedding present.  OK have we ever used them? No but we need to keep them because they were a wedding gift and you don't throw those away..... Well you should have told me that before I threw all those fuk'n ugly highball glasses we have never used away last week......    Baskets are gone now, trash picked up this morning.

Well, it wouldn't blow if the guy who runs the joint worked on it and wasn't out drinking bourbon all the time.

I have never purchased a television. People keep giving them to me, up to and including the 80-some-odd inch monstrosity I currently have. It's old technology and moving it about killt me, but it works fine.
Haven't bought a new one since we moved into our house over 10 years ago. Wife wants a newer flat screen one, but the one we have still works perfectly, despite being horribly out of date. Have a hard time buying something to replace something else that still works great.
Does that apply to golf clubs, too?
Sounds just like 1911"s! ;D
Yeah...you squeeze the trigger on a 1911 and lead flies out the muzzle while it loads the next round. A Glock does so much more than that.

Way to ensure you don't get laid any time soon!

Well, it wouldn't blow if the guy who runs the joint worked on it and wasn't out drinking bourbon all the time.

Yeah, 7-8 times more
Yup. If you're planning on missing half your shots, then those extra bullets are real handy.

or one could just lob a grenade from an open trench.
We try not to mention trenches when Raz is around.....just sayin'

I bet there was at least one instance he wishes someone would have mentioned it.
Beforehand. Fuk'n A.

2:00 Joaquin Update -  If you live in New Jersey grab your azz and kiss it goodbye!

200 PM EDT (1800 UTC), the center of Hurricane Joaquin was
located near latitude 24.4 North, longitude 72.9 West. Joaquin is
moving toward the southwest near 6 mph (9 km/h).  A general motion
toward the west-southwest or southwest is expected to continue
through tonight.  A turn toward the northwest and a decrease in
forward speed are forecast Thursday or Thursday night.  The center
of Joaquin is expected to move near or over portions of the central
Bahamas tonight and Thursday.

Maximum sustained winds have increased to near 85 mph
with higher gusts.  Additional strengthening is expected, and
Joaquin could become a major hurricane during the next couple of
days.

Hurricane force winds extend outward up to 35 miles  from the
center and tropical storm force winds extend outward up to 125 miles.

Pre ordered mine!

Crowned Heads has announced that it has begun shipping the newest extension to its Jericho Hill line, the limited edition 12 Honest Men. It’s a 7 1/2 x 38 version of the Jericho Hill line, which was originally introduced last year. Like the rest of the line, it is produced at My Father Cigars S.A. and uses a Mexican San Andrés wrapper over a combination of Nicaraguan fillers.

If you take a gun into San Francisco and it's not unloaded in a locked box, it had better be up your ass...else your new cellmate might be.

Alas, the chief of the Los Angeles police admits that LA is "looking like Dodge City" lately. So, the gun controls are working great.
