First time for everything.  Weird how a broken club feels...the ball goes about 50feet and then ducks down into a topspin roll and sounds just horrendous(and no I'm not topping it).  Just praying Adams replaced it...fucker wasn't cheap

My dad did that with a 6-iron a few years ago in NC. Teeing off on a par-3, the clubhead just completely broke off and took off like a helicopter towards the green. Went further than the ball did.

I broke my 3wood yesterday, no...not over my knee, actually with a legitimate shot.  Will have to send it back to Adams to get repaired or replaced, hopefully...calling them today.
Too much power in your swing, huh? Morning, Shaun.
LOL! That was have been quite the sight!
It was, and quite the sound too, as it helicoptered towards the green.
Did it helicopter?
Towards the green?
Must have been quite the sight!

I broke a driver the last time I played.  Mine was a legitimate attempt but definitely not a legit shot.
Yeah I was just furious...I wasn't sure it was broken until I tried to hit it again.  Morning Tony!

Club heads flying off? Try not hitting the ball with the shaft, take a lesson or better yet, take up tennis ladies!

You know he still has them, waiting patiently for them to come back into style. I think he added gold stars to them with his Bedazzler
I used to love white shorts...no reason everyone shouldn't see my junk when I play!
No reason other than it's diminutive size
You stated that with such authority.

Good morning BotL! BITCHIN' TUESDAY!

I broke my 3wood yesterday, no...not over my knee, actually with a legitimate shot.  Will have to send it back to Adams to get repaired or replaced, hopefully...calling them today.
I broke a driver the last time I played.  Mine was a legitimate attempt but definitely not a legit shot.

Thanks Tony, another one for my "Who gives a shit" file
I was just trying to change the subject from bleached assholes.  So did you decide on getting the highlights?
Sure, sure....and with that we are right back on target.

Yes, as long as Shaun has enough bleach left when he gets done with my balloon knot

Jersey/Travellin' Dave... got my MF connies in yesterday, sure are pretty looking cigars.  Probably gonna wait a week or two to light one up given the high heat across the country and them being shipped with a humidity pack.

Had one last night.  Expect pepper.  I know, news flash.

We're very casual here.  Get your shit done, bill the clients, do whatever afterward.  None of our clients are local so we never have to 'see' anyone without advance notice and even so, most overnight trips have been just a little business before mostly pleasure.  It's a good industry, I suppose.  It's changing drastically but so is everything else, I suppose.

They're pretty good.  Ultimately, with the Havana VI line I'd just go with whichever vitola is the cheapest, other than the 4x40s.  Blend doesn't do well in that size, IMO.  I think my favorite was whatever that more traditional corona is called.

Sure did Ken, they're fantastic. We had been talking about the red labels because I smoked an Angeles (4-5/8x42) from that line which was far better IMO than the robusto. I figured the PL in the red line might be a safe bet that they're good based on the Blacks, not that I think they could touch them just that the size would be done well

Do they have them in your local shop?  Think they go for $5-$6 here.  Worth a try.  Just checked Tampa Humidor but they're out of that size.  It's a safe recommendation based on liking the other Havana VI sizes but I don't know that it's THAT much better/different than others in the line.

Glad you liked it!  Said it many times before but the Short Run series is a favorite of mine, and I was incredibly disappointed that the previous release was only available in the 60+ rgs.
I never actually said I liked it, but I did.  What's the other short run that doesn't have a year on it and looks a lot like the 2013?

I'm tempted by the Tat Havana VI petit lanceros, you can get them for like $70 shipped for a box, just never had one
Scott, did you smoke one of those Tatuaje Black Label Petit Lancero?
Sure did Ken, they're fantastic. We had been talking about the red labels because I smoked an Angeles (4-5/8x42) from that line which was far better IMO than the robusto. I figured the PL in the red line might be a safe bet that they're good based on the Blacks, not that I think they could touch them just that the size would be done well
Ken, have you had the latest version of the Tat Black Corona Gorda?
Is that the Jar that y'all talk about? I have not had one.
A must-try, I'll send a couple to you. Every time I smoke one I'm convinced they edge out the PL. When I smoke the PL I done feel like it's below the CG, both excellent

The way I see it - smoke and enjoy the CGs freely.  Once you're out, you can always go back to the PLs.
Ok. That does it. I'm buying a "Jar"! Where to get them? Atlantic is backordered!

Bring your calculator and we can do math problems, maybe do a full inventory and depreciation analysis for Churchills.  Sounds fun, right?!

I use the Hydra LG humidifier.

I have the "All Shelf" tower (http://www.cheaphumidors.com/p_cabinet-humidors_HUM-2000-SHELF.html).

I don't think anything is adequate size-wise unless you're talking full size walk-in!

Good morning BotL! BITCHIN' TUESDAY!

I broke my 3wood yesterday, no...not over my knee, actually with a legitimate shot.  Will have to send it back to Adams to get repaired or replaced, hopefully...calling them today.
Too much power in your swing, huh? Morning, Shaun.

That's where 72" is actually low, my eyes are around that height being 6'4-5ish.  I like the ides of it being tall, just not sure on width and depth...thought about doing a booze on the bottom and cigars on top approach...just unsure.

Not connies, I'm looking at:

That's just the description though.  The Mash has them at $39.95 + catsrule coupon.  Hence $5.53 each.

Tony, I told you I was "Short Bus" slow! Thanks, to the Jersey boys for clearing that up.
You're not slow, you just had to be there.
Well, he's pretty slow as well....

Just messing with you, Shaun. Most people who say things about being tall, are jealous. I like my diminutive size. Me and warden are perfect in bed. I can penetrate, and kiss, and suck titty all at the same time! Not sure y'all needed to know that. But now you do!

First time for everything.  Weird how a broken club feels...the ball goes about 50feet and then ducks down into a topspin roll and sounds just horrendous(and no I'm not topping it).  Just praying Adams replaced it...fucker wasn't cheap

No worries bud! My wife is relatively tall, 5'9ish I believe, maybe 5'10, so that helps...if she was 5'1-5'4 it would be a lot more funny looking that it probably is!

Is that catsrule17 coupon still valid?
Why, you gonna buy sumpin' ?
Nah.  I was just trying to see if buying 2 of the MF 6 cigar sampler was worth it.
$5.53 per stick, hmmmm.  Still considering this one.
I smoke a very few connies, but most MF are great. I need to hear more recommendations first--no offense, IMO, GFY, etc..
Not connies, I'm looking at:

http://www.famous-smoke.com/my+father+6+cigar+sampler+cigars/item+30273

That's just the description though.  The Mash has them at $39.95 + catsrule coupon.  Hence $5.53 each.

Just an FYI - catsrule is good only on purchases of $50+

Joe, what humidification system(s) do you use in your tower?  And which tower do you have? And do you feel it is adequate size wise?(nohomo)

I use the Hydra LG humidifier.

I have the "All Shelf" tower (http://www.cheaphumidors.com/p_cabinet-humidors_HUM-2000-SHELF.html).

I don't think anything is adequate size-wise unless you're talking full size walk-in!
Anyone else with towers can chime in too!

Thanks for the info!  I am looking at 72" tall, 30" wide and 20" deep...just not sure if that's overkill or not.  I was also checking out the Oasis Magna for humification: http://www.famous-smoke.com/cigar+oasis+magna/item+44074 (http://www.famous-smoke.com/cigar+oasis+magna/item+44074)
Get a couple of extra fans.   http://www.cigarsinternational.com/humidification/38277/humi-care-eh-plus-electronic-humidifier-fan-kit/
Shaun, if you were 5' 6", like a normal person, would your tower be that tall? Just wondering.

Fixed it for you, you're welcome.  And so what if I can't reach everything on top of the cabinet?
Thanks Joe,..I still remember the pic of you and Ryan. He must be a giant! 6' tall is a giant to me!

Yeah, he's pretty damn tall.  I'd guess 6'8" maybe?

I don't know anything about programming or coding or anything like that but I'd guess it goes a little deeper with regards to things being filtered.  But maybe not.  I have no idea.  He did mention that CI was not blocked.

I think it has to do with links (from attachments) to porn.  Companies buy filters and I doubt this site has made the filter list.  However porn sites ALWAYS make the lists.  Well it's 5 here so I'm out.  Plus I'm working tonight until the wee hours.

When I worked for Chevron, we would do a Fantasy NASCAR thing, and then it was blocked. It got purchased by a Company that had porn sites, among their portfolio.

Bad news on the Dusty Dave front... new web filters at his work, can't get in to Cigar Banter.
NOOOOOOOOO...I was just starting to wonder where he was!
Tony can fix that. Unless Godaddy is blocked. Say it is a chemical business, or any business, or religious site. Sue!
I wish I could figure out a way.

Eh, go back to worrying about the filters tomorrow, when you're paid to be worrying about something else.  Have a great evening, Tony.

I asked MWeber...he should know.  I will relay the response.  From what I know, there are different software programs that group them, so some are blocked for one group and not another, also then combined with other settings.
When I worked for Chevron, we would do a Fantasy NASCAR thing, and then it was blocked. It got purchased by a Company that had porn sites, among their portfolio.

Go figure.  I can understand it from the corporate side of things.  Whatever.  Funny thing is that I don't have five minutes of free time once I get home between the kids, their activities, my own commitments, and dealing with the kids alone when the wife has her commitments.  It's a mess!  So I appreciate the down time at the office.  GFY if you don't like it, switch careers.

My vote is that it would be bad without him.  I was just asking the question to see what Shaun would say.

We prefer it face to face here.... behind the back just isn't fun.

Smoked a second one today.  Had the EPC 2013 Short Run at lunch and a Puros Indios bellie on my way home.  The EPC was very nice, as expected.  The Reyes was better than I expected.  I wasn't expecting jack shit from that cigar.

I have all of those things, but it's not what's for dinner tonight.  You eat what I make.  And if you're not hungry now you'll eat it when you get hungry.  This is not a restaurant.  Sheesh.

By the way, it's "famiglia".  Like Peppino always said, it's pronounced exactly as it's written.  Which is not true in the case of famiglia - LOL.
