Cigar Place is offering an additional 40% off its already discounted clearance section by using the promo code “clearance.” Notable deals include five-packs of the Quesada Oktoberfest 2013 Das Boot, Punch, La Gloria Cubana, Foundry, Dunhill 1907, and CAO.  (from StogieGuys)  So there!
If you have not tried them Quesada Oktoberfest are not all that good at all.  Age does not help them much either.

LOS ANGELES — Los Angeles police say a task force investigating Internet crimes against children served a search warrant at the home of Kiss rocker Gene Simmons, but neither Simmons nor anyone in his family is suspected in the case.
Lt. John Jenal says the warrant was served Thursday at the Simmons home in Benedict Canyon near Beverly Hills.
Jenal says the detectives involved want to emphasize that Simmons and his family were "extremely cooperative" and none of them are suspected of a crime.

The manufacturer of Oreo cookies recently announced plans to move production of Oreos from Chicago to Mexico, resulting in a loss of 600 U.S. jobs.

This should be a wake-up call to defenders of the U.S. sugar program and other job-destroying trade barriers.

The leading ingredient in Oreos is sugar, and U.S. trade barriers currently require Americans to pay twice the average world prices for sugar.

Sugar-using industries now have a big incentive to relocate from the United States to countries where access to their primary ingredient is not restricted.

The most unbelieveable thing about this is that there are only 600 people total involved in the making of Oreos. They have at least that many different flavors, I think.

Some of the Fall beers I purchased(the Heady was traded for):
Where did you get that Heady Topper?
Not familiar with the WhaSnatch....Leinenkugel Summer Shandy is very good, but I haven't been that impressed with their fuller beers, be curious to hear about that one.
Yeah I figured I would grab it since there weren't a lot of options here yet for the 'create your own 6pack' - I will report my findings
Toasted Coconut Beer, chit wait till Bean sees that one!

going to be a good day. no painting touch ups needed in spare room, got curtains hung, furnature in and arranged. my day is complete. nothing to do but smoke cigars, drink coffee, and enjoy the sunshine.
Have you collected any rent yet?
depends on your definition of 'collected'.
Simple, you said HUD was paying you about 1/2 of your total rent for her space.  Did you get paid about 1/2 of your rent amount in U.S. Dollars?
HUD doesn't start paying until they start tearing the house down, probably end of next month.
How do you spell Deadbeat?    Sure, next month.........

How many cigars are you going to be permitted to smoke now?

DEANbeat. ha ha ha.

Sculpin is mighty fine beer, I would give the habanero a try but would not pay $14 for a six pack to try.

Good morning Dave.
Morning, Chip.
Starting off pretty slow around here this morning.
Agreed. TXDave is off today, I believe, and Scott is already 75% on vacation mentally, so might be a slow one.
You've seen Tex's post count, nothing stops him
Indeed, he even did a fair job of dialing in from vacation.
And there I only had internet service inthe clubhouse.   Thus I was either drinking morning coffee,  eating and/or drinking at the bar when bantering.  Warden and everybody else there slept in tand I enjoyed going down to the clubhouse early to read the news and banter with my coffee to watch the sunrise.
You bantered with your coffee? Did it have any good cigar recommendations?

The manufacturer of Oreo cookies recently announced plans to move production of Oreos from Chicago to Mexico, resulting in a loss of 600 U.S. jobs.

This should be a wake-up call to defenders of the U.S. sugar program and other job-destroying trade barriers.

The leading ingredient in Oreos is sugar, and U.S. trade barriers currently require Americans to pay twice the average world prices for sugar.

Sugar-using industries now have a big incentive to relocate from the United States to countries where access to their primary ingredient is not restricted.
But bet nothing will happen, because Michelle Obama says we shouldn't be eating all that sugar anyway.

Happy jamming Friday to y'all.
Can't talk, bank system collapsing.
That's nothing.  Lucky for me, I have nothing to lose.  The bigger tragedy is that SUBWAY KIDS™ pulled their online game, "Jared's Pants Dance" from the website.
Stupid ass shrinks making a mountain out of a molehill....."How to talk to kids about Jared"....WTF, the subway guy is not going to scar them for life.  Easy, he's bad, he likes to hurt children, stay away from strangers.  Done.

http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2015/08/19/talk-kids-jared-fogle/32021257/
If your kids know who the Subway guy is in the first place, maybe they watch too much tv.
Fuckin' A.

Still planning on heading out at 3AM tomorrow Fishy?
Yes sir, unless we can leave any earlier but that's the target. Should put us there by noon pending any traffic issues
Carry the kids out in their jammies, strap them in, they probably won't even wake up.

I agree, critics have been solidly behind the aging room line, rating them from very good to outstanding.  I've tried three or four different ones and like you said, they just did nothing for my palate...even beyond that, having some disagreeable flavors presented.

As long as you don't squeal on the cheerleader you had sex with, we're fine with doing what you have to do.  Sometimes the bus is guaranteed to hit you if you don't throw someone else under it.  A fresh set of tire treads is sometimes good for a person.

Evening men.  Rather pleasant out this evening.  Enjoying a V with sparkling water and Tito's.  Now where did I get that drink idea again ?

But you still have to light the torch.   Or does yours have an igniter built in?

Just open the valve and push the button to ignite.

Other than the expected packed cabin and the crying baby in the seat behind me, no issues.   And two very nice young ladies seated in my row.  So yeah, TxDave's fault.
