New Deputy
-------------------------

The Local sheriff was looking for a new deputy. When a blonde walks in to try for the job, he asks her "Okay, what is 1 and 1?"

"Eleven", she replies.

The sheriff thinks to himself, "That's not what I wanted, but I guess she's right!"

"What two days of the week begin with the letter T?" he asks.

"Today and Tomorrow", the blonde answers.

The sheriff is again surprised that the blonde has supplied a correct answer that had not even occurred to him.

"Now listen carefully, who killed Abe Lincoln?" he asks her.

The blonde looks a little surprised. She thinks really hard for a minute and finally admits, "I don't know."

"Well, why don't you go home and work on that one for a while?"

So, the blonde wanders over to the beauty parlor, where her pals are waiting to hear the results of the interview.

The blonde was exultant. "The interview went great!" she says. "First day on the job and I'm already working on a murder case!"

Indeed.  I'll have a few days off then but am installing new master bath casework for my "vacation".  So yeah, f'n slackers.
That is what happens when the warden runs the jail.
After 20 yrs the bathroom needed a face-lift.  And this way is better than spending even more $$ to hire it out. But yeah, if it was just me, who cares as long as it functions.

Good morning boys! The dreaded first day back to work after a nice break
You said it!
Morning Tony, a small stretch to go before the X-Mas break. Merck has a mandatory shut-down between X-Mas and New Years so I'll be off starting 12/24 and don't go back until 1/4.

I wonder what LTG's schedule is like at that time, I hope he can get a day or two off there
Fuggin' slackers!
Indeed.  I'll have a few days off then but am installing new master bath casework for my "vacation".  So yeah, f'n slackers.
That's like 1/2 day's work, then you get to slack-off.

Do you need to remove any old caulk or grout? LTG has just the tool for that

CI sends a notice as "shipped" when they assign it a tracking number but it is actually not shipped but only packed and awaiting pick-up at the end of the day.

that's not even a 1/3 of them...Good morning boys.
everybody have their fill of turkey yet?  8)
Mornin' Flip.  Polished off the last of the bacon wrapped delight yesterday with open face sandwiches and the last of the gravy.

Morning Flip, I did not exactly get my post-Thanksgiving fill of turkey this year.
But did your neighbor?
That's really all that counts. From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.

I made turkey stock with the remains of the 21lb carcass, and then turkey soup, after taking the rest of the meat off the bones.

Now THAT sounds good!  Usually do that myself but tried it once with a Bacon wrapped turkey carcass (left out the bacon in the stock pot obviously) and it tasted "off" so we 86'd the carcass this year.

Well I just fell in love with the 20 year old blonde barista from Seattle at LaVazza Cofee, she wanted to see my penis but I told her not yet, a little too soon for that but maybe tomorrow.

I'm smoking less lately, starting to feel my age.  Plus have to pay for the latest 18K of vacation Time share the warden insisted we needed Near Gatlinburg, TN. we apparently needed 3 weeks a year of vacation, when we barely use two.  Although I do tend to give a week to the married kids now and then.  So I'm buying less stuff for me, haven't even been hanging out in the legion much.

I'm afraid SC is not going to be one of the early girls picked at the dance.  Considering how many big openings are out there, there isn't a lot of top coaching talent to fill them.
It was nice to see VT and Fuente.  Seems like a good match for both.

Yes, a bit chilly indeed, and a bit of the white stuff around.
Heading out now to find a nice warm cigar lounge.

Sorry I missed your birthday, LTG.  Since it doesn't really matter to me, I'll root for the Browns tonight.

Edit:  And just as I was posting that, the Browns intercepted, ran it all the way back for a TD and took the lead.

Very pleasant.  Rather uniform leather and cocoa with a bit of spice.  Slow burner, lasted over 2 hours.

Lovely 22° here.  Forgot how much I dislike the sound of hard ice crunching under the tires.
