I met a guy in the Army, and everyone hated him.  I couldn't understand why he was so disliked.  So I started paying attention to what he said.  Basically, he said what ever was on his mind.  He wasn't mean, or hateful, but just said what ever he thought.

There was a place on 4th street in Anchorage, AK that was well known for it's nudie bars and adult theaters.  Every Saturday night the area would be flooded with service men.

The guy I had mentioned, myself, and a few other guys were standing around talking about going to 4th street this next Saturday night, when the Chaplin happened in and over heard us.

The Chaplin started in on us about not going.  He confronted this guy by saying, "I can't understand why you guys want to go down there..?"

The guy replied, "Well Chaplin, what guy in his right mind wouldn't want to see a beautiful naked woman...?"

With that, the Chaplin left.  The other guys were appalled at what he had said, and continued to dislike this guy.

I thought to myself, "he's right."  And who better to say it to than some one that is trying to push their views on you and expecting you to follow them.

After that I started appreciating people that could speak their own mind.

That Saturday night, all the guys in the conversation ended up on 4th street as usual.

A few months later, "who do you think was spotted at one of the strip clubs, giving $1.00 bills to the girls..?"  You guessed it, it was the Chaplin.

We did confront him about it and he said, "every once in a while you have to let your hair down."

Anyway, I often also say what ever happens to be on my mind at the moment.  I guess that's how I got on the banters, "I can't believe you stooped so low list,"  haha... :)

The last time Hillary Clinton had a simple job to do,
she outsourced it to Monica Lewinsky.....
I've always felt sorry for Monica.  I think she got sucked into a bad deal.
How was it a bad deal for her, she has made a fortune off of one blow job and a cigar in her twat with no pictures.
Maybe we could get CI to name a cigar after her....?
Already done: Gurkha
I guess it would sound like that...!  Gurka, gurka, gurka, oouuugh...!
My wife has been hinting about a new car for running around town in.  She wants one of those Kia Souls, because she thinks the Hamsters are cute.  She just wants an automatic, and air.  Does anyone know anything about the Souls...?
Drives and feels as cheap as it is.

So, that sounds like a no.

Is there a scenario we haven't been through here, multiple times?

If you're just looking at gas mileage,
Volkswagon Passat 30/44
Honda Accord Hybrid 50/45 (although I'm not big on hybrids for the cost/benefit)
Volkswagon Jetta 31/46
Honda Civic Hybrid 44/47
Toyota Prius 51/48
Tesla Model S 95/106

Other regular gas engines:
Toyota Corolla 30/42
Chevy Cruze 27/46
Mazda 3 28/40
Mazda 6 28/38
Ford Focus 26/36

We own one. Like it a lot, very little trunk space. Grocery shopping can be like playing Tetris at times, but we like it enough that it isn't a big deal.
Everyone I talk to, love them.  What did you get on your...?  And what engine did you get (1.6L or 2.0L)...?  Oh, and gas mileage, I was sort of worried about that.

Worried about gas milage when the BIG engine is the 2.0... come on BD.
I was aiming for a high mileage car.  But I watched a car review by Everyman Driver on Youtube and he said he was getting in the low 20's on a Honda Civic he was reviewing.  That car is rated by Honda to get 30-40 mpg.  So it would really bother me if I got a Civic thinking I'm going to get 35 mpg, and really get 21 mpg.  I know it's hard to believe, but things like that drive me nuts..   :o

1. Highway vs. City
2. Automatic vs. Manual
3. Was the model Si, Ex, Sx etc.

There are always variables. The Warden had a 1995 Ex at one time. Even then it got @30mpg
I got a new (2015) Honda Accord about 3 weeks ago, gets 34MPG on my commute to work. I was impressed, mostly highway but still. Odd thing is that I get 32MPG on the way in and 36MPG on the way home. Must be due to my Starbucks stop
I am not a sedan type guy but f I was that would be high on my list, very nice car.

I would love to have an Accord, but I'm not too sure I can afford it.  I think they are listed at $23,500 for the lowest priced one.  Do you have any problem with wind noise on the highway...?
As a matter of fact I do
From what I've read, it's common for the last few years.  I'm not sure if it can be fixed or not...?  I guess you could ask the dealer, and I would check on the internet for Technical Bulletins to see if theirs a fix.  This is different, but I thought it was interesting on how some dealers are.   I ran across a Technical Bulletin for a Hyundia that had moisture and fogging inside the headlight.  To fix the problem, turn the engine on, and turn the headlights on for 5 minutes until the fogging is dried out.  Do not replace the headlight except for very rare occasions.  I guess that fixes the problem until theirs moisture in the air again.  Now if you've ever wondered why I've taken my car back for the same problem, I guess this would be one of the reasons. I guess rare occasions would be when you threaten to sue or some thing..?

Check the crash ratings on that 2nd list then compare the fuel savings to whatever you deem the people in it are worth before deciding.

Yeah, those 5V AAA's had been sitting in the humidor for a goodly time, and they were really nice.
