Two Wishes
-------------------------

A man walks into a restaurant with a full-grown ostrich behind him.

As he sits, the waitress comes over and asks for their orders.

The man says, "I'll have a hamburger, fries and a coke," and turns to the
ostrich, "What's yours?"

"I'll have the same," says the ostrich.

A short time later the waitress returns with the order. "That will be $6.40
please," and the man reaches into his pocket and pulls out the exact change
for payment.

The next day, the man and the ostrich come again and the man says, "I'll
have a hamburger, fries and a coke," and the ostrich says, "I'll have the
same."

Once again the man reaches into his pocket and pays with exact change.

This becomes a routine until late one evening, the two enter again.

"The usual?" asks the waitress. "No, this is Friday night, so I will have a
steak, baked potato and salad," says the man, "same for me," says the
ostrich.

A short time later the waitress comes with the order and says, "That will be
$12.62."Once again the man pulls exact change out of his pocket and places
it on the table.

The waitress can't hold back her curiosity any longer.

"Excuse me, sir.How do you manage to always come up with the exact change
out of your pocket every time?"

"Well," says the man, "several years ago I was cleaning the attic and I
found an old lamp. When I rubbed it a Genie appeared and offered me two
wishes. My first wish was that if I ever had to pay for anything, I would
just put my hand in my pocket and the right amount of money would always be
there."

"That's brilliant!"says the waitress. "Most people would wish for a million
dollars or something, but you'll always be as rich as you want for as long
as you live!"

"That's right. Whether it's a gallon of milk or a Rolls Royce, the exact
money is always there," says the man.

The waitress asks, "One other thing, sir, what's with the ostrich?"

The man sighs, pauses, and answers, "My second wish was for a tall chick
with long legs who agrees with everything I say."

Time Off
-------------------------

Two factory workers were talking.  "I know how to get some time off from
work." said the man.

"How do you think you will do that?" said the other one.  He proceeded to
show her...by climbing up to the rafters, and hanging upside down.

The boss walked in, saw the worker hanging from the ceiling, and asked him
what on earth he was doing?  "I'm a light bulb" answered the guy.

"I think you need some time off," said the boss.  So, the man jumped down
and walked out of the factory.  The second worker began walking out too.
The boss asked her where did she think she was going?

"Home.  I can't work in the dark."

90-Year Old Man
-------------------------

A 90-year old man said to his doctor, "I've never felt better... I have an 18-year old bride who is pregnant with my child. What do you think of that?"

The doctor replied, "I have an elderly friend who is a hunter and never misses a season. One day he was in a hurry and picked up his umbrella instead of his gun by mistake. When he got to the creek, he saw a beaver. He raised his umbrella and went "bang, bang, bang", and the beaver fell dead. What do you think of that?"

The 90-year old said, "I'd say somebody else shot the beaver."

The doctor said, "My point exactly".

Random thoughts as we age ...

The biggest lie I tell myself is ..."I don't need to write that down,
I'll remember it."

Wouldn't it be great if we could put ourselves in the dryer for ten
minutes; come out wrinkle-free and three sizes smaller!

Last year I joined a support group for procrastinators. We
haven't met yet!

I don't trip over things, I do random gravity checks!

I don't need anger management. I need people to stop pissing
me off!

Old age is coming at a really bad time!

Lord grant me the strength to accept the things I cannot change,
the courage to change the things I can & the friends to post my
bail when I finally snap!

I don't have white hair. I have "wisdom highlights". I'm just
very wise.

My people skills are just fine. It's my tolerance to idiots that
needs work.

Teach your daughter how to shoot, because a restraining order is
just a piece of paper.

If God wanted me to touch my toes, he would've put them on my
knees.

The kids text me "plz" which is shorter than please. I text back
"no" which is shorter than "yes" .

I'm going to retire and live off of my savings. Not sure what I'll
do that second week.

Even duct tape can't fix stupid ... but it can muffle the sound!

Why do I have to press one for English when you're just gonna
transfer me to someone I can't understand anyway?

Of course I talk to myself, sometimes I need expert advice.

Oops! Did I roll my eyes out loud?

At my age "Getting lucky" means walking into a room and
remembering what I came in there for.

Chocolate comes from cocoa which is a tree ... that makes it a
plant which means ... chocolate is Salad !!!

And, of course.. Have I sent this to you already... or did you send
this to me?

Happy hump jam, fellas.
Morning Tony
Good morning, Scott.  I see you're buying today.  Where you putting it?
In my new CFest 2015 humidor
There were some nice sticks in there this year.
I thought the same overall although some of the ones I was looking forward to gave big ring cigars. Espinosa gave a 60RG for god's sake
Don't you know how popular big sticks are now? Get with the times!
I had this conversation with the L'Atelier boys. I asked about the Cracker Crumbs and told them I thought they did the small RG cigars very well, PCRs, LAT SS lancero, TAT Angeles... They said "yeah, I really thought the large RG thing would be over by now". Not so much
Charlie and I are thinking about taking Thursday 6/25 off from work and going to the Drew Estate event associated with Cigarnival 2015 in Easton.
They have an event out here on Saturday I was considering stopping by, but I think the wife may be back to work. Also a Roma Craft event coming up, some of their stuff sounds good. Anyone a fan of theirs?
The Intemperence stuff I've had has been really good

CI site seems to be totally dead now, I cant even get it to open.
Working for me.  You'd better call your crackerjack IT guys to....oh wait.
Can't get it to open on my phone.  Must be the weather.
Now it works, guess you fixed it for me.  On second thought what difference does it make if it works or not.

Morning, Bean.  We've got summer weather here.  A/C has been running for the last couple of days.
I thought it's supposed to be back down in the 60's for a couple of days?

Very nice, except for the long drive for me.  I think Yellow star was a little afraid of us at first and didn't bring the little lady for fear of tales of melamine jars and such, but a fine visit overall.  Only downside.... out of VaS.

Had to google it.  Damn, they have a variety which looks pretty good, but that VaS looks a little too far down the fru-fru scale for my taste.
They have some of them at HEB, Sculpin is a great beer but expensive and they usually have that one.
Sculpin is what I was enjoying last night.

Morning Chip, Dave, Dave, Bean, Dean, Dogfish and Mr. Mayor.  Happy humpday!
Morning Dave, how was last night's Caliherf?
Very nice, except for the long drive for me.  I think Yellow star was a little afraid of us at first and didn't bring the little lady for fear of tales of melamine jars and such, but a fine visit overall.  Only downside.... out of VaS.
Too bad about the VaS, they just can't make enough of that stuff

Have you guys examined the current state of marriage-related case law? The warden runs the show.   Some wardens may be decent enough human beings not to exercise their power, and most would prefer that their husband was man enough to be a leader, but anyone who thinks husbands run the show is living in a fantasy world.  ;-)

Yeah, yeah...meanwhile my agency is providing vital records data all over the country to help local governments collect alimony and child support, very often from men who aren't the biological father of the children they're supporting.  It's all good until it goes to court.  Then the wife has everything in her favor.  ;-)

Well, if you're a deadbeat dad, sure, you've got nothing.
How about if you're soldier who was in-country on an extended 14-month deployment, and returned to find your wife holding a newborn.  You know how most states assess paternity at that point, for purposes of collecting child support?  By whether there was a marriage certificate in place when the child was born.  And if you try to pursue the argument that "the child isn't mine," you have a costly, uphill battle in court ahead of you.  And that's just one example I've seen a lot of (because I used to be the one to provide the data sets).

OK, what's VaS?  Bastige acronyms.
Victory at Sea by Ballast Point.
Had to google it.  Damn, they have a variety which looks pretty good, but that VaS looks a little too far down the fru-fru scale for my taste.

Well we will not tell him, but I think the Warden is running the show.

The warden always runs the show.
Not around my house! ::)
Yes, very much ditto.
Have you guys examined the current state of marriage-related case law? The warden runs the show.   Some wardens may be decent enough human beings not to exercise their power, and most would prefer that their husband was man enough to be a leader, but anyone who thinks husbands run the show is living in a fantasy world.  ;-)
Maybe around your house but that is  your own fault.
Cheaper than the cost of a child for 18 years, I'm guessing.
Only if you win, which most don't.  My point, and I'll dump it here because I have to work, is not to discuss marital roles, but how the law looks at marriage.  Once upon a time, men had the leg up as far as the law was concerned.  It isn't so anymore, and it isn't anyone's definition of "equitable."  Women have the advantage.  Some contend there are good reasons for that, others grouse about it.  But it is what it is.

Morning, all.  Nice herf last night except for what Dave already pointed out... no Victory at Sea.  It definitely rattled me for a bit.
Understandable and completely unacceptable!

Total joke.  Go get some more, the brewery is right down the street.  Had a couple other decent beers, though... Abita Bourbon Street bourbon barrel aged, which I liked because it wasn't overly sweet, and an Alesmith Speedway stout, which is a pretty heavy coffee stout.  12% ABV.  Comes in 750ml bottles at the store so it's always rough getting through one myself, so it was nice to be able to get it by the glass.

They run the house because most of the schitt they do is annoying/aggravating, and after being annoyed and aggravated all day at work most guys don't really have the desire to fight it at home as well.

Didn't see this post earlier.  I agree with Fishy that the line is better than most of the newer botique groups.  A bit on the pricy side for a regular smoke, but I enjoy Aquitaine Mode 5 and Intemperance BA and EC.

SEPTA Says Commuter Train Hit By Projectile Just Before Amtrak Train Derailed

PHILADELPHIA (CBS/AP) – A Philadelphia commuter train was hit by a projectile about 20 minutes before an Amtrak train derailed a few miles up the track.

A spokeswoman for the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority says there’s no indication that the incident is related to the derailment.
SEPTA spokeswoman Jerri Williams says they don’t know what the projectile was. It broke the engineer’s window around 9:25 p.m. Tuesday near SEPTA’s North Philadelphia station. No injuries were reported.
Williams says the Trenton-bound commuter train was stopped and the incident was being investigated when the Amtrak derailment happened about 3½ miles away

Typical media dumbassery. Has apparently nothing to do with the derailment, let's write an article that makes it sound like maybe it does. Sheesh.

I like it quite a bit.  Different from most EPC's.  Full chocolate/nutty dense flavor.  Some little quirky flavors here and there that hopefully will settle with some rest time.  Burn may benefit from some dry box time.  Not everyone is sold on this one however.  Definitely worth trying a fiver if you put that in your cart.

This is one we don't really agree on.  I like it just fine, but I like some of the other stuff he's put out recently a bit more... 5th Anniversary, New Wave Reserva, etc.  Worth trying.  Seems like others like it more than me.  Not that you asked for my two cents but it was burning a hole in my pocket.

Nice avi Dave.  I'm training Jackie and Ralphie to ride on the handlebars of the Road King.  So far, all they've done is shit on the gas tank.  They do well on the handle of Valentina's stroller, so I think I'll revert to a bicycle before trying the Road King again.

Used to be a guy in Shreveport that had a Macaw bird  that rode around on the Roll Bar of his Jeep.  Had some sort of a rope wrap around the bar so he could hold on I guess.
