Short list for today's history since Chip is vacationing and it is a memorable day for me: (May 11)

1)  Would be  my father's 101st birthday, smoked 50+ cigars a week and drank plenty of Old Taylor bourbon living to be a few months shy of 90.

2) Nations Oldest WW II Veteran, Richard Overton,  is 109 today, smokes 12 cigars a day along with several shots of whiskey first one each day being in his coffee.  and has smoked cigars since he was 18.
       * On his 100th birthday the centtenarian was interviewed by a TV reporter. “Sir, Congratulations and Happy Centenary Birthday”. “Sir, are you able to go out and walk on your own? With a sarcastic smile the old man replied, “Well young man, I certainly can walk better today than what I could a hundred years ago”.

3)  On this day in 1981 the great Reggae Singer Bob Marley died from cancer.   Bob would be 70 today.  Bob also smoked a lot but did not live a lengthy life.  Guess marijuana is not as good for you as cigars and whiskey.

But they have the Doppler 450!  Amazing how this is the one area where technology really hasn't improved.  We have great satellite pics of what happened in the past but the prediction stuff is complete fiction.  I say we just stick to the almanac.

There was a pretty good SNL skit once with Ashton Kutcher as a news anchor giving the weather man the business about getting a forecast wrong. The weather guy fires back about how he's the only one there who has to predict the future, and asks him if there are going to be any murders in the next day. Funny stuff.

But you're here.  Got your agenda set for today?
Yeah, doing a bike tour around SD and then walking around beaches in the early afternoon. Dinner and stuff back at the house.
Sounds like fun. Enjoy, NFM.
What about a cigar in there somewhere?
Think we're scheduled for Tuesday evening, so he'll get at least one day.
Had a Tat Black CG yesterday, needed to get rested up. Now I'm ready
I had one a couple weeks ago, still damn good

Oh, hell.  I've probably built systems more fuct up than that.

Morning, muchachos.
That I would never admit!

Morning Raz.

Much larger target than the Tat Black Melamine Cookie Jar, he has been able to practice quite a bit too during his recent downtime.

But that presumes he's been hitting the jar from a distance, as opposed to just sticking it in.

Agreed - When I don't smoke for a week or a long duration and need to smoke a cigar to 'get back on track' I always go to that one. I know the flavors I should get, the burn and puffing consistency/timing, etc...great flavors and all around consistency.

Asked the Admin person (been working here 15 years) to send our office FedEx Account number to the office in Louisiana so they could send me a USB Drive at our expense.  This dumbass printed out a  FedEx Label addressed to me with our account # on it,  put it in a FedEx Letter envelope and FedEx'd it to them to  put on the package tomorrow to send the drive to me. ::)

Tex-----Yes.  Back in the 60s I was working my way through school doing residential and commercial roofing.  I had a helper that actually asked me "How do I know when this 5 gal. pail of tar cement is empty?"  I told him "Turn it upside down and put it over your head.  When you take it off, if there is no tar in your hair, it's empty".  He actually did it.  Oh, and btw, we still exchange Christmas cards and family photos.  He's the guy I named my bird Ralphie after.

Democratic Sen. Virgil K. Smith is currently being questioned by Detroit police after allegedly firing multiple rounds into his girlfriend’s vehicle during a domestic dispute Sunday.

Police Chief James Craig stated Monday that Smith, who fired 10 rounds at the woman’s 2015 Mercedes Benz, has been charged with aggravated assault with a gun and malicious destruction of property.

In light of the arrest, multiple sites including BearingArms.com immediately took note of Smith’s voting record, specifically on Second Amendment-related issues.

Smith has not only received a 0% rating on gun rights from the Michigan Coalition for Responsible Gun Ownership, but a “D” grade from the National Rifle Association as well.

If convicted, Smith would join a long list of Democrats who disarm their law-abiding constituents while secretly owning firearms.

The National Football League suspended New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady for four regular season games without pay "for conduct detrimental to the integrity of the NFL," the league announced Monday afternoon.

The league also announced that the team—which won the Super Bowl earlier this year—would be fined $1 million and forced to forfeit its first-round pick in the 2016 draft and its fourth-round selection in the 2017 draft.

LMAO

Big appetite: Christie buys $300K of food & booze with NJ expense account. When does he govern? It seems he’s either eating or buying food.

Quite the penalty considering there wasn't anything proven.

Top this dumbass of the day maneuver.  We got some talent around this place.
What a dumbass!  He/she should have sent it USPS, would have only cost $.49 instead of the FedEx rate!
Well yes but my thought was just email them the account number.....  (She)
The data can't be uploaded to Dropbox?  Oh, it's the all the episodes of "Swamp People"?  Never mind.
Sure, I follow.... ???     ::)
You'll have to explain it to me when you have a minute.  I'm too embarrassed to tell Mark I don't know what the fuck he's talking about.  By the way, this is a PM, right?
Sure it is Mr. Menstrual Mayor
Don't hate me because I'm in touch with my feminine side.
He will not hate you but don't bend over.

Yeah I never thought it would possibly be more than 1 game just for show and some meaningless fine.

Thought I would post some memorial photos of my Dad's favorite cigars and bourbon on his 101st birthday,  the cigar box is one I still have, bourbon is a stock photo but 60's vintage bottle.

Know that there were two different Dos Campeones that I gave you.  Coraje and Sixto.  Box comes with ten of each.
