As for San Diego Beers.....how about Rip Current Hazardous Hazelnut Porter, Zumbar Dark Chocolate Imperial Coffee Stout, Ayinger Oktober Fest-Märzen, AleSmith Anvil Ale ESB,  The Lost Abbey Avant Garde, The Bruery's Autumn Maple,
::)
Those all sound Bean-approved
There is no amount of time I could spend in NJ which would cause me to start drinking beers beverages such as those.
Garage Brewing Marshmallow Stout was one of my favorites from my SD trip
Should pair nicely with a Kuba Kuba Cigar
I'd have to ask Dad, those aren't in my arsenal of cigars :)

Looks like I missed the beer brothers. ;D

Doesn't look like this crowd wanted any more suggestions anyhow.  :P

Who'd you call an arsenal?  ;)

The BIL told me that Traveler was a Sam Adams product... not one of the many he distributes. I could get it, but would feel shame for "taking bread out of his kids mouths". haha

Oh, I did get to try the Lazy Magnolia Pecan Nut Brown you mentioned the other day. It was good, but didn't really do much for me. I'm partial to the Sam Smith. Good suggestion though.

Glad you got to try it but wow you are the first person that ever said it was not far above any other nut based beers, just goes to show you it does no good to ask someone else what you should try for smoking or drinking! ;)

I have that one too but thought it was much too light for an Oktoberfest.  Even the warden said it did not have "enough body" to it and likes the SA much better.
