The last time Hillary Clinton had a simple job to do,
she outsourced it to Monica Lewinsky.....
I've always felt sorry for Monica. I think she got sucked into a bad deal.
How was it a bad deal for her, she has made a fortune off of one blow job and a cigar in her twat with no pictures.
Maybe we could get CI to name a cigar after her....?
Already done: Gurkha
I guess it would sound like that...! Gurka, gurka, gurka, oouuugh...!
My wife has been hinting about a new car for running around town in. She wants one of those Kia Souls, because she thinks the Hamsters are cute. She just wants an automatic, and air. Does anyone know anything about the Souls...?
Drives and feels as cheap as it is.
So, that sounds like a no.

The series is back to even...
-1 Raz. I have no use for a vehicle that looks like a utility vehicle but has no cargo space.
This space for rent.
-10 Tex if it ain't a truck or full size SUV then leave it at the lot.
-10 more because we have already been through this entire car buying scenario with Dad and he did not do anything and nothing in the car world has changed since then.
Hey, I did too do something. I paid off 8 months of living expenses from last year that was on my Visa card. Bought and paid off a new computer this past 2 months, and the next thing on my list is a new TV which had been on the back burner for the past 7 months. Once I get the tv, then it will hopefully be a car. It just takes time to save the money before I can buy any thing. ugh..!
Have you considered looking at vehicles a couple years old with low mileage and still under some warranty?
You would probably drop the costs considerably. Most new cars drop in in value significantly after you drive them off the lot, imho, fwiw, no offense, etc, etc. Although, this will inevitably open up a bigger can of worms. ha!
I have also been looking at used cars too (on the internet.) Here's what I've been running into. Used trucks are almost out of the question. They are very expensive and also have allot of mileage. For used cars, it's common to find a 2013 - 2014 with 30,000k to 60,000k and let's say costing $14,000 and up. My wife wants an automatic and air. Basic new Soul with a 10 year 100,000 warrant cost $17,000. So, do I buy a nice used Honda Accord, or pay $3,000 more for a basic new car that hopefully the dealer will repair for the next 10 years. A car with 30k has a risk of some thing being wrong with it, may need new tires, and brakes. Now if I had an old man that lived next to me selling a 3 year old Buick with 12k miles for $13,000 - $14,000 I'd jump on it. It's just very hard for me to decide. Also, I drove 1,000 miles last year on my truck, and my wife drove about 1,000 on her car. A used car with 36k miles represents 18 years of ownership to us. Kinda weird, huh..
That 10/100,000 Kia warranty only applies to internal parts in the drivetrain not bumper-to-bumper which is more along the standard 3/36,000.
Warranties are a racket. Manufacturers don't give anything away, and there's no free lunch - the cost of the warranty is built into the cost of the vehicle and the cost of non-warranty repairs. So you're paying for it. But for those who don't, won't, or can't work on their own vehicles, warranty roulette is the only game in town.
I can work on my own vehicles, I have good friends with the expertise, experience, facilities and special tools I may lack, and I have a great mechanic who charges me an absurdly low labor rate for work for which I don't have time or energy, so long as I pay cash and can be patient about him getting to my vehicle - which I always can. So I stay out of the new car (or motorcycle) racket.
