Or properly ferment the tobacco.

Not sure if it's the fermenting or adding of chemicals - I've never had a cuban tar up on me while plenty of NCs have across many brands.

Coincidently, smoking a LGC Serie R and getting some tar.  Use the Xikar 11 mm punch which leaves a recess and the tar is accumulating on the exposed filler in the recess which is at least 1/4 inch below the head.

Tough to get around that to clean it up....not like a cut where you can just take another one.
