A four day timeline is not significant. Need three weeks for a detrimental effect to become known, and even that is a big maybe with the vaguery of testing and data compilation.

OK, but what's your point? More cases now vs March 30th? Isn't that true just about everywhere? What am I missing here?
Nothing really. None of these numbers mean much now because the whole thing was botched from the beginning. As we had little to no testing for most a month ago, we just have no idea what the onset was, penetration, infectivity profile. New people are being infected now, but we know that because we are actually doing some testing. In March the only people being tested were people in the hospital so obviously sick with it they shouldn't have been tested. Like giving a pregnancy test when the baby is crowning...
