early quit. got swamped by a big ass shrimper throwing off a 3' wake. cold, wet, but safe.
Nice photos, Deano. Were you wearing a light on your head so that the boats knew you were there?

no. sun was up and to his back. wide open, plenty of sight distance. just being a dick. it's the first time I've seen a wake that high, that close to me.

How come Figment can get a Dr. appt. before I can see a doctor or dentist?
Because dogs have more freedom than people under the pandemic laws rules guidelines edicts.

Because his visit is completely out of pocket and doesn't involve the insurance companies. That's my guess.
Nope...got doggie insurance,  but its handled differently than human insurance.

I' might be wrong, but I don't know that there's been any evidence that this can be spread via animals. I'm sure that's the reason.

it was just a good thing I was close to shore. had I been out past the channel it could have had different results. I had my life jacket, just didn't have it on. 🙄

I recall there were cases of human to animal and vice versa transmission.

FWIW, this is what the CDC has to say about it:

The virus that causes COVID-19 spreads mainly from person to person through respiratory droplets from coughing, sneezing, and talking. Recent studies show that people who are infected but do not have symptoms likely also play a role in the spread of COVID-19. At this time, there is no evidence that animals play a significant role in spreading the virus that causes COVID-19. Based on the limited information available to date, the risk of animals spreading COVID-19 to people is considered to be low.
