It's getting close to lunchtime. I'm thinking soup.
sounds like a good plan to me. had a ham sandwich at the desk, but may just slip out to the car for a cigar now that you've got me thinking that way.  made some chicken soup last weekend and finished that off yesterday.
Wound up making a Chipotle Chicken & Rice soup. It's simmering while I'm at the doctor's office. Feeling under the weather the last two days. #ThanksObama

soup sounds great!  illness does not...  hate obummer care, but been in gubmt long enough to know that repealing an act without something to take it's place is...well, a bit risky.
Worked just fine for Prohibition.
Um, yeah right it did...  Hi Raz!

Michael at the Sis offering up a 10-pack of Tatuaje Havana VI robustos for $49.99 and free shipping.  Is that a deal or no?

I'm very particular about public restroom etiquette. I'm generally in there for one purpose (peeing, because #2 gets done at home). I don't touch anything, keep the breathing to a minimum, in and out as quickly as possible.

Tree lawn makes sense. In fact, I've been on a street nearby named, Tree Lawn Drive. Just never thought of what it referred to. You taught me something today.
So that makes the lawn in front of the house or the back yard a "grass lawn" ?

good morning all!  glad to have survived the catastrophic 1/2" of snow last night!
Hey there, Sam. Hope you stocked up on canned goods!
No, milk, bread and eggs!
Don't listen to them, which would you rather have if you're stuck at home for a few days - bread and eggs, or an actual variety of food? ;)
I got cigars, I got beer, I got scotch, some whatever in the freezer, cans of whatever in cupboard....I'm good.
Sounds like you're adequately prepared for most natural disasters - flood, snow, acts of electorate. ;)
I just like that he used the term "cupboard"
What do you call it?
Cabinet
Curious. What do you call the patch of grass between the sidewalk and the street? (not a set-up for a joke, legit asking)
Didn't know there was a term for that, I don't have sidewalks
Just asked because it seems like a regional thing. My BIL is from Bethlehem, and when he heard the midwest term for it, he could not get over it, cause he didn't have a name for it either. We call it a tree lawn.

Next question - who are the 3 Stooges? Like, in what order would you say their names if someone asked? (And no, Shemp does not count. We're talking original 3 here)
Tree lawn is funny, it's simple and makes sense.

Moe, Larry, Curly
That's another regional one. Has to do with how they were referred to on tv locally, is what I've heard. Here, we say Larry, Curly and Moe.

That's just goofy.  ;D
That's what I was thinking about your crazy backwards talk, too! :D

Haha. Moe is always first as I've learned it... It's the Stooge hierarchy method
Maybe it's a MD thing, but I've always heard them referred to as "Larry, Moe & Curly"
Holy cow. Yuz are blowing my mind. Google has the final answer on this. When you start typing any of those names, which version is pre-populated?

Was just in the bathroom, and a guy already in there had his water bottle on the floor next to his feet while he's at the urinal. Now, I don't know about you, but other than actually IN the urinal, I think that might be the last place I'd put something that I would later drink out of.

Agreed. Although, I have "balanced" a plastic beer cup on the chrome flush value at a concert/sports venue... or two. I'm not proud of it, but that beer was probably $10. lol
Always finish the beer first and then buy another on the way back to my seat.
absolutly!  if you do iot right, the whole reason your in there is because you've finished with your libation and am on the way for another one...multitasking I tell you.

Usually the preferred method, but sometimes the bladder doesn't wait and/or the beers are 32 oz. Just sayin'

They were on the jam earlier, but I can't remember if they were $25 or $30 for the 5-pack. Either way, I'd go with yes.

Seems like Larry, Moe and Curly starts autopopulating at about the same time as Larry, Curly and Moe. Moe, Larry and Curly takes longer.

But what if there's trees in the yard?  AHHH, my head hurts as well.

Moe, Larry, Curly

Don't have a word for tree lawn here either, but when I hear the phrase "curb your dog" I figure that's the area their talking about.

+1 on Moe, Larry, and Curly
