Looks like Matthew is FL bound for the Daytona - Jacksonville area

Meanwhile FEMADEAN is ready on the opposite side of the state ???

Hurricane force winds only extend out 45 miles
expecting severe storm surge for Coastal Citrus and Levy Counties (me) and flooding from rain. winds from 35-45 mph.
Make sure to wear your rubbers.

@Dean: Extended your birthday wishes to Charlie. I also confirmed that he still has/wears your cap. He sends his regards.

So, I'm going to order a .44 Magnum. I know the Ruger Redhawk is the more durable gun, but I'm leaning toward a Smith M29, just because I've always wanted one. #LogicOutTheWindow

Never been interested in such dual-purpose weapons. A .454 is on the list for the future, just because. But it's an awfully difficult cartridge to manage, and for all that "power" the sectional density is no different than the 44 mag. This is primarily to back up a rifle in bear country, so the biggest priority is to place shots accurately and get back on target.

just asking. the Judge is on my list, but doubt I'd go that large, probably the 410 2-1/2" shotshell and .45 Colt ammo.

Would be a great choice being outdoors in Eastern Washington, where one is most likely to have to deal with snakes, cougars (the four-legged kind), and the odd drunken lout.

But for bear? Eh...

I'm thinking along the lines of snakes, pigs, and gators here. I doubt I'd shoot a drunk.

Smoked an LFD firecracker on the way home. Nice flavors. Powerful ligero but smooth enough on the retrohale. It was gifted. I'd definitely smoke it again but not seeking to buy more.
