Lot of Slackers around here today, old retired farts are the only ones on the move.  SHEESH!
Hey, I'm not retired... :-\
are you ever going to be?
Very good question.  I'm hoping two years.

We babysat the kids all day Saturday, and made bbq'ed Chicken Wings, Fried Cabbage (Polish dish with cabbage, onions, bacon, and egg noodles,) and beans....  Boy did we fart all night...!  Good thing I wasn't smoking a cigar..!   We bought the beans from Dollar Tree, Hanover brown sugar bacon for $1 and they were as good as Bushes... :)

good morning Mark and Scott.
it's MONDAY!!!
I love Mondays!!!
Damn, you got that fan up and running already?
ha. I don't do electrical. waiting on a friend. got light disassembled from ceiling, fans put together and parts layed out ready to go.
Nor do I.
took 3 wiring attempts to finally get it to work.
Reminds me of the time my father installed an electrical receptacle box in the basement.  He plugged in a box fan, and said, "Damn look that that thing run... It looks like it could almost take off....?"  OH NO, "I wired it 220...!!!!"
Makes for spectacular splatter when the shit hits it. And nice, even distribution.

Hopefully like most, I always thought my dad was perfect.  But now that I look back, it's nice to know he made mistakes like I do.  Probably less thou.  That's not as funny as the time he got drunk and decided to put self-adjusting brakes on the car...  He said, "you just back up and tap the breaks and they will adjust their selves.  He kept backing up and backing up, until finally he was going about 40mph backwards and slamming on the breaks.  Finally he got the phone book out, and found a break place next to a tavern.  He took the car there and had a few drinks in the bar while waiting.  It turns out that he put the breaks on backwards (drum).  The mechanic said he just reversed each break.

Errands done, enjoyed one of my favorite fried seafood joints (Marshwalk) on the Inlet for lunch with son and some of his Inlaws.    Fried shrimp and a couple of Sam Adams Octoberfests on draft.

Looked at two condos on the marsh after lunch.  Also took a short spin in the Land Cruiser.
