Florida boat is semi-custom factory built and NC boat is actually hand built from the design up.   

NC boat is old school glass over wood frame (1600 pounds) and Florida boat is Carbon Fiber (700 pounds) and they are similar size.  NC boat will take rougher water Florida boat is faster.

FL boat is 1/2 the price of that totally custom boat and will do exactly what I want it to.

The NC boat is worth the price but I just can't see spending that much.  It is literally a motorized piece of floating furniture.
