An epic PW session underway.  Getting close, just a little bit longer (TWSS).

The cigar gets its name from the Mayans, who wrapped tobacco leaves in string and smoked them - an activity they referred to as "sikar."

And she's been waiting in vain for it to get longer ever since.

The guy in the trench coat is Bud Clark. He owned a bar in Portland when I was in college there, and got himself elected mayor running on a platform of a red zone for legal prostitution in the city. Being the edgy theology student I was, but also a journalism minor, I figured it would piss off the fogeys in the faculty if I got an interview with him. I did, and boy did it piss off the faculty.

I got my Utah concealed carry permit the other day. The picture makes me look like Howdy Doody.

Yes, I remember that shot and the person in it.  Classic.  Can you imagine how many pansy-ass groups would claim offense at such a photo these days?  Hurts to think about it.

And that's being charitable.

Clark was a funny guy. And a lot more literate than people expected of a bar-owner.

Just seven more. It's amazing what a person can accomplish by just putting his mind to it. I should try that sometime.

Yeah, yeah. I'd care about your opinion if you were born with a vagina and looked like this:

People say that about some of the banter BOTL, but I think people are mistaken.

Try something more ambitious. Just think what might have happened if I'd devoted the day to practicing Spanish or studying cigar rolling methods or something.
