Most interesting story in NCAA Baseball is the demise of the PAC 10.  Utah won the regular season championship and they did not even have an overall winning record.

Another little trivia note on the west:  Texas Tech is the furthest west host location in the regionals.

Clemson won the first NCAA baseball playoff game 24-10 over Western Carolina.  Looks like they're still playing football.

Yep, still kicking ass on small programs. .

It's the tournament, they play who they are assigned.  Oklahoma up tonight.  Nebraska plays Western Carolina in the losers bracket.

Pretty difficult (or sad) for a regional host to lose a first game the way things are set up. There was a load of 12+ run games yesterday but I do believe Clemson was the only 20+ game.  Competition begins at the Super Regionals.
