I'm confused.  I'm not against handguns but I don't know much about them.  seems to me though, that a 40mm pistol would be pretty cumbersome.  I remember something in WW2 called a 20mm cannon they used on some aircraft.  if cannon shells come in 20 mm, then we have 40mm handguns?  should the 40mm Mark mentions be a .40cal vs mm?  or did I just miss a gun joke?

Good morning, fellas.  I'm expecting great things today.
Well then, I'm expecting great disappointment.

Morning men.  And yeah, fake work week, but don't believe everyone is on board with that thinking.  At least Wednesday should be a fake work day.
Just a normal week, everyday is a fake workday for me and I never come to work on Friday anyway.
Yeah, yeah, GFY.
Monday GFY back to you!   Morning Bean
Whoa, whoa, let's dial it down a notch boys
???
Well, it's not Tuesday yet and it's a holiday week!
Indeed.  We need some joisey politeness and decorum around here.
Exactly!

Looks like Bean was going to answer this... but .40 cal is the inch equivalent. It's actually @ 10mm

Should be .40 caliber.  Fires a 10mm slug.

You're right, 40 mm is incorrect.  It's 0.40 inches, or 40 caliber, which is closer to 10 mm.  I was mixing mm and calibers.  F'kn gun talk, amiright?

Yeah, had to check my facts.  After a while talking 9mm vs 380 vs 40 vs 45 you tend to drop the units.

Cigar world needs to get festive for the holidays!  NO Mash, NO Jam and C Page sucks today with Rocky Patel crap for 24 hours.

Black Friday deals out the gazzoo in the gun world.
Speaking of which, been eyeing this one.  http://grabagun.com/sw-m-p-c-3-5-9b-12rd-fm-safe.html
Nice, but no free ship.

Thanks Bean,  wasn't trying to be a gun weenie, but I haven't messed with handguns much.  hunted with rifles and shotguns.  figured 40mm would be pretty big, but hey, i hear they make a 50 cal handgun... i shot a BAR 30 cal once and had bruises for 2 weeks afterwards.  can't imagine how you can hold and accurately shoot a 50 cal handgun.  wouldn't mind trying once though.

45's start getting heavy and a bit bulky, but 9mm, 38 and 40  are all pretty comfortable guns for handling, even conceal.

Everyone going hunting for Bourbon County on Friday?!?!
You referring to Goose Island Stout?
That's correct - I've got 4 bottles set aside for me but I'm going to bring a few girls from work to try and grab some more :)
Only one place here that sells Goose Island that I know of.
SHEESH!

You get into any of that bourbon yet, CG?
It drops on Friday here(the BCBS stuff)...unless you are talking BTAC and Pappy, then I was able to get Pappy12 and Eagle Rare 17 and still trying to get more from another local place ;)

Nice to see you stocking up, but are you collecting or drinking? Get into meant open and taste... Bourbon, not bourbon barrel ageing. ;)
Tasting, just wont be throwing back 3 fingers of it a night :)  I'll try and make it last a year or two

Soooo, you liked it then?   :o
I was out of town all weekend so I haven't sampled yet - I will have some after I get done defending my thesis on the 7th of Dec :)
Let it stand up for itself....you can't go on coddling them forever.
