Not sure of which Dave you refer, but I'm still working through various Oktoberfests including Brooklyn, Sam Adams, Flying Dog Bloodline and Dogtoberfest, Sierra Nevada, DuClaw Mad Bishop and a few others...

Haven't had that many October/Fall seasonals this year. Did have the Sam, Sierra, Lieny Harvest Patch and the Southern Tier PumKing + Warlock. Been sticking to the hard stuff it seems. Product of my sports watching environment I suppose. Helps with the pain. lol

As I tend to drink either at the same speed, I usually drink beer until the end of the contest....so I can be sure to make it that far.

Sound advice, but sometimes it just doesn't matter... like when the game is, for all intents and purposes, over by halftime 'cause the team is SUCKING! ugh. Getting a headache again...

I thought I'd stop in for a few minutes and say, "hi everyone."  I've been working on my wife's laptop, and after awhile I just want to scream, and go watch tv for awhile.  I put a new hard drive into to, and have nothing but problems, non-stop.  Finally I switched in the bios from AHCI to Compatibility Controller mode, and everything but the sound works.  The sound driver keeps saying unsigned.  I tried reinstalling the driver, but still the same problem.  If I press F8 while booting and select boot with unassigned drivers, everything works great.  I uninstalled the sound driver again, and will try reinstalling it.  Otherwise I guess it's always going to be an F8 unassigned signed drivers boot from not on... ugh..!
