Evening men. Taking a break on a pleasant NJ evening with a V Melanio.
Had a Melanio with enough age on it for all the flavors and complexity to come on through.  Of course it was the last of the box.  Got another box aging now.
So aged for how long?  I've not been able to set those aside long enough for aging.  6 months at best on mine.
That is a pretty high $ cigar for Cheapo Beano, where do you find a Beano deal,on those?
Don't recall but rest assured they were a good deal at the time. And FS I'm sure.

And I don't smoke cheap cigars, just try to pay as little as possible for them.

Afternoon, muchachos. Back from the non-commie east side of the state. Lovely Labor Day weekend and we beat the return traffic so easy return trip. Only smoked one cigar - a cheapo that was gifted to me but wasn't half bad - but did a lot of drinking and a lot of laughing with family
Afternoon Raz, glad you had a good weekend and made it home safely.  That is ok Tony is a dumbass too and did not take any cigars on vacation. ;)
Well, since my dad and step-mom weren't at this event, I wasn't expecting to have an opportunity for cigars so didn't take any. But then one of the clan's Septs  showed up and he'd brought cigars. He apologized profusely that they weren't "the quality you're accustomed to," so I had to smoke one to be polite while we grilled steaks, and it really wasn't a painful experience. It helped that I was on three double whiskeys and grilling a really beautiful steak, but it really wasn't a bad smoke. One of those no-name cigars with Cuban in the name, but I've had Gurkhas that would have been far worse.

Nothing wrong with Gurkha's when you are in the middle of nowhere and don't have a cigar and someone gives you a free Gurkha to smoke.  They are a good value at $0

For those of us old enough to remember :

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Martin Milner, whose wholesome good looks helped make him the star of two hugely popular 1960s TV series, "Route 66" and "Adam-12," has died.

He was 83. "Adam-12" co-star Kent McCord, who spoke to Milner's children, said Milner died Sunday near the La Costa neighborhood of Carlsbad, Calif. He said the family is doing well, but gave no other details.
And are willing to admit to it...
I think most of us have given up,on hiding it :)
Embrace it!

Well done, Raz.  Sounds like fun.
It was. If I may be forgiven for boasting a little, the Holtz clan has a reputation for being fun to party with, so it was a bit of a riot. Half the neighborhood around my brother's lot showed up to hang out. I bought up a third of the stock of the local tortilla factory, we made blistering hot pico de gallo, roasted jalapeños and habaneros, barbecued ribeyes, and my sons made shrimp that was to die for. All my nieces demanded that I perform all the songs I've written for them, and we drank fine liquor and made campfire pies. Good times.

That was a good show. Remember the spinoff "Emergency". " Rampart General, we have a code this-and-that! ".
Oh yeah, both good shows in the day.
My sisters had the hots for that skinny dark haired EMT.  I sorta liked that head nurse, Dixie McCaul. A nurse with a stripper name. I'm sure that was completely unintentional.
It was the hair.
