For those of us old enough to remember :

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Martin Milner, whose wholesome good looks helped make him the star of two hugely popular 1960s TV series, "Route 66" and "Adam-12," has died.

He was 83. "Adam-12" co-star Kent McCord, who spoke to Milner's children, said Milner died Sunday near the La Costa neighborhood of Carlsbad, Calif. He said the family is doing well, but gave no other details.
That was a good show. Remember the spinoff "Emergency". " Rampart General, we have a code this-and-that! ".
Oh yeah, both good shows in the day.
My sisters had the hots for that skinny dark haired EMT.  I sorta liked that head nurse, Dixie McCaul. A nurse with a stripper name. I'm sure that was completely unintentional.
It was the hair.
And that top blouse button threatening to pop loose.  Dixie, you tease!
I feel a throbbing in the Levi's.
I'm feeling vomit in my throat.

Afternoon, muchachos. Back from the non-commie east side of the state. Lovely Labor Day weekend and we beat the return traffic so easy return trip. Only smoked one cigar - a cheapo that was gifted to me but wasn't half bad - but did a lot of drinking and a lot of laughing with family
Well done, Raz.  Sounds like fun.
It was. If I may be forgiven for boasting a little, the Holtz clan has a reputation for being fun to party with, so it was a bit of a riot. Half the neighborhood around my brother's lot showed up to hang out. I bought up a third of the stock of the local tortilla factory, we made blistering hot pico de gallo, roasted jalapeños and habaneros, barbecued ribeyes, and my sons made shrimp that was to die for. All my nieces demanded that I perform all the songs I've written for them, and we drank fine liquor and made campfire pies. Good times.
That sounds awesome.
Well, it ain't the Caribbean, but we did what we could. ;-)
All that matters is you were not working and you were enjoying life, location is otherwise not important.
I gotta work on that.
There ya go talking work while we are Holidaying.

What's a campfire pie?
You take homemade cinnamon bread, stick it in a cooking iron with long handles, dollop in some homemade applesauce, close the irons, and the kids hold the irons in the fire. Pull them out when done, dust them with powdered sugar, and consume with copious amounts of local muscato.
Sounds delicious. Figure out how to add some chocolate to that recipe, and they'll be perfect.

Warden came out to get on my nerves but that did not last long after she got on my nerves in under 15 seconds she was gone within 30 seconds more.

97 degrees and she comes out sits down and says it is hot out here.  No Fuk'n shit, really?  Never said another word just stomped back in the house.  Ahhh peace and quiet again.
That was an invitation to do something about that throbbing in your Levis.  You're losing touch, old man!

No, but come on over and we'll make some fresh. And I've got a box of Partagas Serie  P #2 to go with.
