Bye to Fish, Golf, and anyone else I most likely missed due to my mind being screwed up over a damn cigar.. errrr...!!!  I think I need whiskey..
NOW we're talkin'!!!!
I have a bottle of Bullet Rye I can't stop thinking about...  My wife is sleeping, and off tonight.  Mmmm, I wonder if I could wake her up and get her drunk..?

I like the Bullet bourbon... not much of a rye fan though.
I like it, but I don't like that it's about $30 a fifth.  I could be drinking (not rye) Fighting Cock @ $17.95 or Buffalo Trace for around $20.  I bought Buffalo Trace for $20 about 6 months ago, but I think it might have gone up, maybe to $25..?  Anyway, I'd drink it at 20..!

Yep. Your prices are higher there. That runs @ $22 here. Another good bang for the buck is Evan Williams (white label) 100proof.
I'm been drinking Evan Williams cheaper black label for around 25 years or whenever it was with Jack Daniels jumped up in price.  I'll keep my eye out for the white label.  Mmmm, a manhattan would sound good about now: Evan Williams, Sweet Vermouth, a few teaspoons of cherry juice out of the jar, and a couple of cherries....!!!  I've never used Bitters. Does anyone know what bitters taste like...?
Different companies' bitters taste different.  Basically an herbal concoction with alcohol used to extract the essences.  Some taste bitter, but others have more citrus base and other flavorings.  If you've ever had chartreuse or other herbal liquors, its something like that.  Not particularly pleasant to me but fine in a Manhattan or food prep.

I am doing some thinking now trying to figure out why Dean cleans the car Before going to the beach where it will be subject to salt spray and sand for a week. ??? ??? ???
Dean has a thing about his Jeep, Mr. Maintenance.
It seems like he's always working, or doing work for others.  I wish I had a neighbor like that..!  :)
Indeed.
I am trying to figure out what he is doing for others - he is smoking cigars, drinking coffee and cleaning out his own car for a camping trip with his squeeze.

You sure are doin' a lot of figuring today.
Seems that way guess I am used to having Raz around to do all the figuring we need. ::)
I'm a musician, I can count to seven at the most.
don't forget 8th, 16th & 32nd notes....gotta count the beats
I'm a rock 'n roll guitarist. All 8th, 16th and 32nd notes get counted as triplets, so I only have to count to three for those.
LOL, nice!  Percussion for a wind ensemble. Anything over 16th is a roll on a snare.  the music has to have some of the weirdest beats I've ever seen.    my particular favorites are 5/4 and 12/8.
I can play Pink Floyd and Rush, so I'm okay at 5/4, 7/4, and 7/8. Beyond that, everything gets fuzzy.
But can you play 33 1/3 so you can make one of those big vinyl albums like they did in the good 'ol days...?
Nah, I wasn't good enough to make an album, so I can only play at 45.
Damn, I was 45 once....
I remember 45 too.  I drank Colt 45 Malt liquor all that year just because I was 45.  When I turned 46 I switched back to regular beer of the time.

Its my experience that that never results in anything good.
headaches mostly
+1  Beginning signs of a migraine here.  Why'd you make me think?
Probably my fault but I left mine downtown an hour ago.  Next headache for me will be a hangover headache.

My first beer was a dark draught.  We had a Shakey's Pizza a few blocks from my house.  The dark draught beer they served, reminded me of root beer, which I love, so I ordered one.  It wasn't the greatest at first, but ever time we went there for pizza, that beer looked so good with the pizza, that I had to order another one.  Later I couldn't eat one of their pizzas without a dark beer.  I really loved those pizzas too.  Now I think there are only a few Shakey's left around the country. They played old black and white 20's silent comedy movies, and had a piano and banjo player.  It was great...!

Afternoon Bean.  15 or so.
Sounds good.  Vacation cigars are among the best you'll ever smoke.

Very smooth and creamy tasting.  Getting a bit of clove and nutmeg.  Great smoke volume, perfect draw and burn.
