I was planning this for yesterday, but then we went to the movies instead.
I'm going to be making tortellini alla panna tonight. My mom used to make it on occasion. I'll need to go to the local farmers market to pick up leeks and peas (there's a joke in there, somewhere).
Don't know what that is, but it sounds good.
We're having beer cheese soup. In fact, gotta go start it in the crockpot.
That's a great idea too. Maybe tomorrow.
I haven't made it in a long time. The Mrs is a big fan. Do you have a particular recipe you like best? Also, what do you have with it, side dishes, etc.?
Although, I believe my wife requested gambas al ajillo for tomorrow.
Might want to go with that then. Lol
No side dishes, other than bread. This is the recipe I use, pretty simple and straightforward.

Though, I do leave out the celery and carrots to appease the kids, since 2 out of 3 of them aren't a fan of it. And I've never tried it with bacon. Not sure why, since bacon generally makes anything better. But the first time we tried this recipe, it was pretty damn good, so I've just continued to roll with it as-is.
If I make it tomorrow, it'll be without bacon since it's the Lenten season and all. I generally think celery and carrots enhance foods, especially soups. My wife is picky about those, so I wind up putting an immersion blender through it.
I do the immersion blender as well to break up the onions. Maybe next time I'll include them, see if anyone even notices.
I'm betting they will notice how amazing it tastes. Just don't tell them why.
No one in my family but me is a particular fan of carrots, celery, or onions. But they all learned long ago what that combination brings to food.
