Good morning, Joe.  We're learning about assault rifles today.  And speaking of being assaulted, Scott's around here somewhere.
And we AR not talking about assault rifles.  READ MAN READ we are talking about Non Assault Rifles.
I am reading.  And in between Zzzz's I'm giving a shit.  The intent was to get a rise out of you and it worked.
So in reality you have just been being dishonest to us?  Typical fuk'n politician.
How so?  By the way, guns kill.

That's just what "they" want you to believe.

Morning, all.  Happy Tuesday.

Morning, Joe. What's on the drink menu for the day?

Morning, Steve.  Probably should ease up on the day drinking today, got a fairly lengthy paper to write this week.  BUT... got a 2014 Laphroaig Cairdeas and a Glenvlivet Nadurra Cask Strength (finished in Oloroso sherry casks) arriving today, might have to try a little of each.
Hmm...I thought the Nadurra was thin and uninteresting.  Will be interested to hear your thoughts.

This particular version or the regular 16 year?  Either way, it sounded interesting.  I was told that if I like Aberlour A'bunadh, I'd probably like it, and I do like that Aberlour, so...

Worst case, it's 120 proof and will get me drunk, and I'll move along to the next bottle.
I didn't realize there were two different Nadurras.  I thought Nadurra 16 was cask strength as well.  That's how it's advertised, in any case.

I think it is, but it's a much lower proof... 106ish, I think.  Never had that one, myself.

This is the one I got:  http://www.acespirits.com/glenlivet-nadurra-cask-strength-olorosso-sherry-single-malt-scotch.html
Yeah, I looked it up on Glenlivet's site.  There are two, and that one is referred to as Nadurra Oloroso.  Both are cask strength, with the Oloroso having a higher ABV (60.7%) than the Nadurra (54.3%) .

Okay, now I'm more edumacated.

Given my disappointment with the Nadurra, I won't be in a hurry to try the Oloroso...unless you really think it's the bee's whiskers or whatever.

Morning, all.  Happy Tuesday.
Morning, ExtremelyPartTimeJoe.

Indeed.  It'll be bittersweet when part-time-everywhere deal ends, haha.  Just milkin' it at this point.  Morning, Dave.
Where are you with number of credits?  When's the expected graduation?

I've got two classes left and a capstone, I'll be done the very first week in August.
Holy shit, that was fast.
Everything seems that way to a slow adult  ;D

LOL, hasn't felt fast, had a hell of a lot of classes crammed in to the 14 or 15 month program, whatever it'll end up being.  Only regret is not doing it five or so years ago.  In the grand scheme of things, 14/15 months is not a lot of time.
Very true, big picture outlook. You can always regret not doing something sooner but what's the point?

Indeed.  Drink your good whiskey and smoke your good cigars today.  May not be able to tomorrow.

Actually, gun deaths and car deaths are almost identical. In fact, gun deaths will like pass car deaths in a few years, if they haven't already.

@ Raz - is the only difference in a CA Compliant AR from a regular one is that it only comes with a 10 round magazine?

Good buy for BS on an Armalite at CDNN today but it is a CA version.
Oh hell no, it's a lot more complicated than that.

http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/AR-15s_in_California

And please, by all means, let's keep the misconception that AR stands for Assault Rifle... And anything with a forward grip is the devil and a baby killer.
Probably better let Golf and now CG know that.

CG has a couple shotguns, so there's hope. Golf is just waiting for the non-lethal revolution... 'Set your phaser to stun!'  ;D
James T. Kirk: [Going out to face the Klingons] Don't set your phasers on stun; theirs certainly won't be.

Brace yourselves, republicans - sometimes, all you have to do is a tiny bit of research, instead of regurgitating NRA pamphlets. Took me about 5 seconds to find actual evidence. Don't worry, it won't burn your eyes if you look at it - http://www.cdc.gov/nchs/fastats/injury.htm
