I saw somewhere yesterday that a movie is coming out about Jean and Marguerite de Carrouges.  I'm surprised it took so long for Hollywood to get to them.  Of course, the plot has been done a gazillion times.  But still, they deserve a good biopic.

Y'all are looking at your screens in bafflement aren't you?
I'm just so happy that the movie is coming out.  Is it true Kim Kardashian is playing Marguerite?
Nice try, smartass.

It baffles me that they twisted the story.  LeGris was not Jean de Carrouges' squire.  Both were knights, who had been comrades-at-arms.  Creative license must always be taken to fit complex history into a movie, but this is just pointless.

Still, it's a historical costume drama directed by Ridley Scott and it isn't a comic book movie.  We can thank God for what small favors he grants.

Nice reading fellas. I've been busy all day. Hope rain stops later or I'm going to have to break my rules of smoking in the man cave/workout room.

Here's hoping you get a chance to relax with a cigar after work and that the weather cooperates.

My understanding was that Le Gris was knighted just before the duel so that they would be considered equals.  de Carrouge was knighted much earlier as he had participated with distinction in a number of  military events.

She was only in episode 9, and only briefly.
