I saw somewhere yesterday that a movie is coming out about Jean and Marguerite de Carrouges.  I'm surprised it took so long for Hollywood to get to them.  Of course, the plot has been done a gazillion times.  But still, they deserve a good biopic.

Y'all are looking at your screens in bafflement aren't you?
I'm just so happy that the movie is coming out.  Is it true Kim Kardashian is playing Marguerite?

Done with my smoke, and a fine one it was. Not much better than getting paid to enjoy a cigar. Now for a late lunch.
Almost went with the MoW Valkyrie robusto sent to me by Oy. Maybe that will be my first Fall cigar.

Over/Under for today is 10

Raz Over/Under is 14
8! Probably should have known Debbie Boone and Tom Felton too but I wouldn't have without Google's assistance.
I knew several other names on the list, but wouldn't have been able to pick them out of a crowd.
Today would have been my old man's 95th. I know our list is only for the living but I thought it was worth mentioning.
My Dad is still plugging along at 95 1/2, God bless him!

That's awesome. As long as he has his wits about him, I wish him another 95 1/2.

Enjoy the last few hours of summer, as it officially ends at 3:21 pm ET.
Sheesh. It's been a bit of a crazy morning. I'm about to light last cigar of the summer. Have only had the Casa Cuevas Connecticut so this Maduro is a first for me.

Nice!
Only about an inch into it but it's meh so far. (TWSS) The Connecticut is better.

It's holding on to the ash and the flavor is decent but I'm gonna still put it in the meh category. Nothing impressive yet. Arguably, I'm reaching the sweet spot.

Speaking of still plugging along... I will add that at the halfway point the retrohale became more interesting. I detected notes of lavender.

Now you're just rubbing it in.

Mind is strong, body not so much, but still mobile. Must be the daily scotch and couple of glasses of Gallo Paisano.

Yeah, I probably should have known Felton as well, but I didn't.  I was never personally taken with the Harry Potter series.

Not the finest cigar but still a fine way to pass 90 minutes.

I enjoyed the books. Haven't seen all the movies yet.
