Should make it easier to mix the martinis.
But those thin martini glasses are rather fragile, might be an issue there.
Drink 'em straight from the shaker.  Colder that way.
I make mine in the shade of the vermouth bottle. or rinse the glass with vermouth, then use Bombay Sapphire.
My favorite is Tanqueray Ten with Noilly Prat Vermouth (Bret's suggestion) and olives
I had a chemical reaction to Gin causing me to fall out of a moving car window about 30 years ago and can't even stand the smell of it much less dare taste it agian.

Grey Goose Vodka a little dirty w/ 3 Olives shaken not stirred is the only way I do them
find habenero stuffed olives(or jalapeno stuffed olives), and you will have a new appreciation for the drink.
you sir are having a vodka martini.  perfectly acceptable, but it is a slightly different drink. the younger generation has no appreciation for the true classics.  few drink sidecars or manhattans today.
Shake a 6:1 Gin/Vermouth Martini with a couple of drops of bitters, and garnish with a pepperoncini pepper skewered along with a slice of habanero and a cocktail onion. My brother and I call that a Grunzle.  Modern classic. ;-)

Looks like Famous may finally be out of the Murcialago Toro 4-packs, sad day
:'(  Should have bought more myself!
No excuses....you have your last chance at Atlantic.  (maybe I should get on their advertising payroll)
We all htought you were on their payroll already.
....I guess the check is in the mail.
You also have some RPs and Gurks coming to you on the 15th so things are looking good
I ain't bringin' 'em, don't worry.  Didn't think anyone was reading the banter at that hour.
yeah, but flip might make it, I don't have any RP's but as for the other, lets just say, I'm packing.
Good morning boys
Good morning flip.
morning BD, what are you making for breakfast.  Because it was so cold this morning, drove my 16yr old to school, rather than have her walking from the train to school.  had a "Carnegie Deli Omelet(pastrami, corned beef and swiss cheese) this morning at a diner, than caught the 8:36 train in myself.
We had eggs over easy, potato squares, toast, coffee, and orange juice.

I didn't call it a martini.  I called it a Grunzle.  It only started as a Martini.

And what does James Bond know anyway?  He was off to a great start with the Vesper, then he got lazy and went to drinking vodka martinis.  This is what happens when you smoke 70 cigarettes a day.  You get winded chasing bad guys and settle for whatever the bartender will make.

Sheesh, too much work this morning.
Wife was offered the job she interviewed for on Monday last night, just ironing out the financial details which should be done today.

Good for her!    Now as to you different story.  You went to a meeting at 7:15 and just showed back up whining about work.
