I already got 5 at the end of the summer and I thought that would be the end of them. I'm starting to think there must be a mommy mole living under my central air unit..?hi Steve. moles are like skunks, they love to eat grubs (japanese beetles), treat your lawn for grubs and you'll get rid of the moles, unless you find pleasure in hunting and killing them. When you get that mole, I have a woodchuck under the garage & deck you could go after, not to mention feral cats....By next spring, I may have enough experience to start a business catching these damn things. My friend that taught me how to catch a mole charges $30 each. I said to him, "who the hell would pay $30 for a mole...? He said, "the people that live in the $250,000 houses and just spent a fortune on landscaping."Now, you say 'catch' them, so dead or alive isn't implied. Which would mean he probably catches them, then lets them go in one of the neighbors yards... smart business sense.

I took them to a country area and turned them loose in the woods. The one ran under the shovel and committed suicide when I first shoveled down to catch him. So it really wasn't my fault.
