DE BLASIO SIGNS NEW YORK CITY TOBACCO TAX HIKE, PRICE FLOOR

Edit:  it is far more complicated and complex than anyone can imagine!

New York Mayor Bill de Blasio signed a variety of anti-tobacco bills including one that will raise the price of cigars in New York City.

It’s somewhat of a complex scenario, but smokers should expect to pay 80 cents extra per cigar. The new law requires that no cigar be sold for under $8 in New York City and that a 10 percent tax of the price floor, i.e. 80 cents, be paid.

I heard about this. Basically, even the biggest piece of crap you can find in a shop can't be bought for under $8.80.

August 27, 1990…Singer/songwriter/guitarist (Tick Tock) Stevie Ray Vaughan, three members of Eric Clapton's band, and the pilot were killed in a helicopter crash in Alpine Valley, Wisconsin. Vaughan was 35.
And moved to Austin, TX in 1971 where he lived and kicked off his professional career.  Got a statue of him downtown.

Help me with my Mash-math here if you would...
If a 10 pack of Nica Rustica El Brujito goes for 33.98, why does a 25 count bundle go for 89.98?  $5 packaging and label?
It's the return of Fish math.

And just where does it say we are being inundated with Mexican volunteers or Mexicans are paying to volunteer,it is a long article and perhaps I missed that part.  It says the Mexican Government has offered military..... assistance which the State has not yet accepted.

Yeah, I was gonna say, it's definitely the not having to go to work part that did it.
