Microchipping employees?  What could go wrong...?  Yea, easy access to the building and charge capabilities, but also 24-7 tracking, I don't think so.

https://www.usatoday.com/story/tech/nation-now/2017/07/24/wisconsin-company-install-rice-sized-microchips-employees/503867001/
I can't decide which is stranger, the company wanting to do this, or more than 50 people agreeing to it.
As if they can't do all that stuff from a company smart phone.

Maybe they should work on putting proper GPS trackers in airplanes so we don't keep loosing them.
Modernize the FAA?  Surely you jest.
Yeah, that requires the president fire everyone first.

Your answer is first line of second full paragraph.  "Three Square Market, a company that provides technology for break-room or micro markets...".  They are marketing their business.  ""It's the next thing that's inevitably going to happen, and we want to be a part of it," Three Square Market Chief Executive Officer Todd Westby told the station."  Translation: We want to sell a schittload of it.
What happens when your HR department wants to chip you Bean?  All those cigar lounges and bars for company meetings, half hour bathroom breaks, if you ever try to sneak out to the warehouse for a smoke...worse yet, what happens if someone gives the warden access?
HR is already looking into it.  Sure would solve the problem of someone clocking in for someone else.  Hmmm...
edit: Allow those with the implant to get the snacks for free.  100% buy-in.
Now you're thinking. Good morning, Mark.

I asked my doctors about microchipping me so I wouldn't have to fill out all the damn paperwork every time I saw a different one.

Silly Dean. All that paperwork is to keep you busy while they try to find time between the Doctor's golf game and going home early to fit you in.  Takes time.

they got offensive when I asked why they couldn't access my records by computer links, or just ask for my records. God knows how many Release Forms I signed.

@ Travellin Dave - They closed all the Pigly Wigley's in the Low Country and I am not sure about other parts of the state.  As for Bi-Lo, they are horrible stores.  Best grocery in the area is Lowes (owned by the Lowes family of home improvement fame) but they are expensive.  Publix is nice but horribly expensive.  But together they don't have anywhere near the selection of HEB which was the top ranked grocery in the U.S. last year.
when we were in the Orlando area, we found Publix to be value priced.  That is compared to the grocery stores closer to Disney and the time shares.  I prefer ShopRite here in Bergen County, however people lined up outside of a Wegmans before it opened in the NJ shore area recently.

Sorta like when the first In-N-Out opened here.  You'd think folks had never seen a hamburger. Probably all the fk'n Californians missing the motherland.

I think he's done with firing all the old people, cause now he's starting to circle back to wanting to fire people he appointed a few months ago.
