Yep, because it will be exclusively for carrying in my pocket and I do prefer it for that purpose.

Just something convenient to stick in your pocket when the doorbell rings or need to run to the 7-11 for something, etc...
And they definitely are great for that, but (assuming you haven't already tried it) that thumb safety on the Shield may require some serious practice to disarm quickly. Guaranteed to keep you from neutering yourself, but if you don't practice with it, that safety is a slippery little bastard.
