Remodeling is a nightmare before the first hammer blow.  Sheesh. Took four hours of cajoling last night to get the warden to pick kitchen countertops.
Only 4 hrs?  Not sure why you're complaining, that has to be a new world speed record.  At least using my warden as an example...
That was just last night. This has been under consideration since September. I had to force the issue last night.
Ahh, Now THAT makes sense.
On the other hand, it only took two hours to get her to pick out the bathroom tile and cabinetry colors.

I think I've got that figured out: pay someone else. My involvement in this remodel is limited to ripping out carpet, wallpaper, and trim...and writing checks.

Nope. Having building skills is like alcoholism. You have to hit bottom all by yourself before you decide to give up working on your own projects.

Speaking of which, I put the Road King in the shop on Saturday morning, for service, lowering, and new handlebars. And I passed on buying the '49 Harley to restore. Clearly, I'm in recovery. ;-)

When we redid the basement, had to buy a new reclining leather couch, and some lamps.  That seemed to go well,
so I told my wife if she could pick out a dining room table chairs, and a new hutch, in the next 45 minutes, we would get that too.  We had a set that was my mom's old set, before she decorated, and  new dining room set was always a want o my wife's.  Only taking another 45 minutes, and stuff already on sale, it worked out.  Gave away the old dining room set to a karaoke single mom, I knew.

Same old price but now it includes an ashtray. And for $10 more, a lighter.

....lighter and FS.... :o
It's still a pass for me.
But for Mr. Bean, Tex's son and shank, time to stock up!

Ha. No, not for me. The next 101s I try will be the HN or the Nakamatatititubis. :)
Or I'll just wait for more V tubos to come on sale. :)

Congrats
Sounds like he'll be swelling, anyway.

The new workout regiment HAS done wonders for my circulation and vascularity. Just sayin'.  8)

I AM a fan of the spittoon ashtray at the page today though. Looks pretty nice for the stoop/porch for $20.
