Yeah? What's so happy about it?

Well, in my early morning subconscious state I wasn't sure what day it was. Then I tried to piece together what I have to do today (get up, take kid to school, class, seminars, etc). Then I realized it's Saturday and the only thing I "really" have to do is take the little one to ballet at 10! (And read for classes, and write a petition to the court, and research for my clinical clients, but still...it's Saturday.)

The upside is you have a man cave with a heater! 

I moved a kitchen chair out onto my 4x5' front "porch" yesterday. Im on the second floor and its got an enclosee rail around it at the top of the staircase. Evidently the chair carried some food smell out with it. I came home last evening and a possum was scavenging around it. At first I thought it was the neighbors dog or a cat and was about to get friendly. Bastard scared the shit out of me when I realized what it was. I think we were both a little spooked as he was cornered. I snuck away as he watched and grabbed the garden hose. Hopefully the little fucker won't be back again.
