What's up cigar enthusiasts?!  Any cigar deals on the various internet sites that are worth talking about? Join in this discussion and perhaps learn something along the way.  Warning: don't proceed if you have thin skin but don't be afraid to post either...  And welcome aboard!

JoeCigar.com and Cigar.com have the same deal going.  ZZZZZzzzzzz! Let's hope cigarpage.com will have something better for us in the morning. Good night.

Had a real nice CyB toro along with some great scotch (Caol Ila, Balvenie Double Wood, Laphroig 10, ...) The CyB complemented the scotch well, tasty but not overwhelming the delicate scotch flavors.  Great blues band, also ... upstairs cigar bar over a New Orleans style restaurant in Alexandria, VA. On the way back, I stopped to pick up a couple lottery tickets before 10:30pm only to find that they stopped selling them at 10pm.  So, congrats to all on the Cigarbanter who bought winning tickets.
Then I came back to turn on the news and hear of terrorist attack in Jakarta, Indonesia (largest Muslim nation in the world). Sheesh, double sheesh!

I am guessing you are at work this morning just because you love your job and that you were of the million dollar winner for Ohio?

You know it! I bought 3 tickets, matched 2 numbers total. Of course, perhaps my work pool hit the million, and I don't even know it. Yeah, that's what I'm gonna believe.

Passing by the Tobacco Haus for the old TX herfers.
Still got my free drink ticket from bingo....
Anybody heard from jr ?
Not in a while. Haven't been across the street in a while, either.
I stop in every once in a while, but as there are only a couple of pages a day, not much to say there.

Room 101 Papi Chulo format are all enjoyable smokes for whatever reasons.
Have you tried Namakubi in the Tiburon (long corona, 6.0 x 44) or Sucio (churchill 7.0 x 48 [lanceroish])?  Also very good.
Roxxo is a 4.0 x 48 robusto that to me is a longer smoking PC.

Yeah. I've had both the Tiburon and Roxxo... Prefer the Roxxo of the 2, but those usually go for between $5-$6 a stick average, so $3.80ish a PC is what keeps them jumping in the cart.

Actually, she's scared to look at it.  She was backing out of a parking space, and kept complaining that she can't tell how close she was to the car parked across from her.  I looked at the camera view, and the car across from her was so far away that it wasn't even in the camera view.  I said, "Oh, I can see very well.  Keep going back..., now ya got it..!"  Not once did she look at the camera view.

I don't make left turns.  I plan all my driving in right turns.  Let's say you want to make a left turn.  You go straight and make a right turn at the next block, then another right turn at the next block, then a final right turn at the next block, and there you have it, you're going in the direction of the original left turn.

I adjusted my wife's headlights this morning...
And the rear view camera, too?
Actually, she's scared to look at it.  She was backing out of a parking space, and kept complaining that she can't tell how close she was to the car parked across from her.  I looked at the camera view, and the car across from her was so far away that it wasn't even in the camera view.  I said, "Oh, I can see very well.  Keep going back..., now ya got it..!"  Not once did she look at the camera view.
I feel like that's probably for the best.

I hate that feeling...  Once I went to a computer store in St. Louis.  I was in the left lane and I knew the store was coming up within the next few blocks so I was slowing down and watching for the store.  A car got on my bumper and blew his horn non-stop for about 3 blocks before I found the store.  I was a nervous wreck.  But when I made my turn, I did it as slow as possible, almost in slow motion.  Basically, I'm a asshole at times...  :o

There's only one town between mine and Bedford. That'll be a nice short drive.
But most important question....how far to the nearest decent Lounge  (that is open after 6:00)

No... As soon as he could get around me, he took off.  I just wasn't sure why he didn't go into the right lane and pass me rather than to just ride my bumper.  I'm sure he thought I was the crazy driver.  You know, "Illinois driver in Missouri."  In Illinois the stop lights are on the same corner as you stop.  You pull up even with the stop light and stop.  In Missouri there are allot of stop lights that are across the street on the other corner.  So if you not careful, you'll find yourself stopped even with the stop light, but you in the middle of the intersection... Yikes..!!!  That's happened a few time too.

Actually it get's terrible gas mileage.  I'd guess 14-15 mpg.  But I'm sure it's due to starting it, let it warm up, and then only driving it maybe 1 mile to where she works.  Everyone keeps telling me how bad that is for a car due to moister not being able to evaporate from the engine reaching the correct operating temperature.  Oh well, not much we can do about no going anywhere...

mostly hard on the exhaust system, condensation lays in the pipe and rusts it from the inside out.  also can promote a bit of condensation in the oil, but as long as you get your oil changed on time it shouldn't be a problem.

I adjusted my wife's headlights this morning...
And the rear view camera, too?
Check the oil?
Change the fluids?
Check the brake pads?
....the list can go on.....
We can't find the mileage on the car.  So I had to get the book out and read how to put it back onto the dashboard.  It has 531 miles, and the oil button say's our oil is at 90%.  When it gets down to 0% it's time for an oil change, but were going to take it in every 6 months which will be in March.
I think next time you guys need a used car. Pre-2008 or so.

Next time!?! Sheesh Dave, haven't we all been through enough already... besides, at their rate, they will have had it 20 years before they hit 20,000 miles!  ;D
Somehow I get the impression that it'll be a total loss before then.  ;)

DAMN YOU, JAKE FROM STATE FARM!

@NotGolfinDave....how far are you from Bedford OH?  Looks like I have to wander out there next month.
There's only one town between mine and Bedford. That'll be a nice short drive.
But most important question....how far to the nearest decent Lounge  (that is open after 6:00)

You want decent or open? Getting both could be an issue.... jk
A friend and I was driving through a bad part of North St. Louis years ago and we passed this really scary bar.  It was painted black, and had black bars over the windows and doors, and was in an industrial area.  My friend and I kept wondering what that bar was like but we were too scared to go there.  One night after work around 7pm, we dared each other to go there.  So we went, and we were both scared as hell.  The owner was this really big MEAN biker dude.  It turned out that the owner wanted to run a nice business, and if you caused any trouble in there, he'd take you out back and beat the shit out of you.  So everyone knew to behave in his place.  It turned out to be one of the safest places around due to this guys reputation.  Later he came up to us and said, "You guys want a pizza. I make the best pizza in town."  We said, "Sure..."  And it was a great pizza.

It was more like European Vacation this morning... around in circles... I just can't get left!
I don't make left turns.  I plan all my driving in right turns.  Let's say you want to make a left turn.  You go straight and make a right turn at the next block, then another right turn at the next block, then a final right turn at the next block, and there you have it, you're going in the direction of the original left turn.
Assuming of course you are driving on streets in a grid.  You would never survive in DC or Boston.
Actually, I did once turn onto a triangular shaped block and ended up in South St. Louis before I realized it.  So I do watch out for that now.

That kind of driving is classified as "severe" in the maint schedule.  Oil life is reduced significantly.

Honda is a little different that way.  The car will give you a service notice with an alpha/numeric.  You call to schedule the service and say whatever that number is.....eg. A-3 or B1 service.  Not sure when the notice for oil change comes on, maybe 20%, but definitely not 0.  They prefer that you use that schedule for service rather than a six month or whatever schedule.  Of course if you want to do greater frequency, I'm sure they will not complain.

I doubt it, but if we sold it in 3 or 4 years at a good price, it might allow us to get into another new car...?  4 years old with less then 5,000 miles and a 3 year extended warranty.  It might be worth some thing...?

Trade in for Honda with low mileage and no issues would be pretty decent (relatively speaking).

I believe your right about the maintenance notice (yellow wrench on dashboard lights up) at 20%.  I called the service department and they said the oil has to be changed at 7,500 miles or every 6 months.  So I can't see any problems with the oil, but I can see a problem with the exhaust system.  But the exhaust (I think), has a lifetime warrantee.

St. Louis.  I assume that in order to get into a street gang you have to kill some one.  For years there have been reports of people stopping at a stop sign and some one running up and killing them.  Washington Park is bad too. A guy my wife knew from coming in to where she works, went down to Washington Park to pick up his girlfriend that was a dancer, got shot while driving though.  He pulled into the dance club and died in the parking lot.  I often wonder if they changed the getting into a street gang to shooting little girls...?  Because there was a big rash of that happening too.  It's really sad..!

Been telling me that for years but to dumb to listen I guess, fun to dream and probably worth my $20 for the short relief from reality.

My old college roommate that died a couple of years ago used to buy as many as $500 worth when it would get to big $.  He did not die a wealthy man.
we've got the pull tab machine on the wall down at the legion.  it takes in $4000 and pays out $3000.  I watch guys put $100 to $600 dollars in it chasing the $300 dollar winner.  there are $300 $250, $150 $215 dollar and $5 winners.  that means out of the 4000 tickets there are 3877 loser tickets.  I've seen guys win $200 on a $40 investment, and put all that back in and another $300 chasing the big winner.  I put my money in the jukebox, I always get 5 songs for a $2.00.  hello boys.

I've never been down there.  But I used to work at 801 N. 11th, which was right next to the Post Dispatch, and you could look down into it, and see building down there.  I believe Tucker (12th Street) is a viaduct (I think that's what they call it, viaduct?)

we've got the pull tab machine on the wall down at the legion.  it takes in $4000 and pays out $3000. I put my money in the jukebox, I always get 5 songs for a $2.00.  hello boys.
I was at a bar that had a pull tab machine.  All of a sudden, the bartender ran over to the machine, put a few dollars into and got a big winner.  Basically, they would watch the machine and all of the loosing tickets and could predict when it was going to pay off.  So most of all the winners was the bartender.

Never judge a book...
Sounds more like East St Louis to me ::)
I don't ever go to E. St. Louis, or North St. Louis.  Hell, people that live in E. St. Louis don't want to go to E. St.
You ever been in that old abandoned railroad tunnel down behind the St Louis Post Building before they removed it to extend Tucker Street?
I've never been down there.  But I used to work at 801 N. 11th, which was right next to the Post Dispatch, and you could look down into it, and see building down there.  I believe Tucker (12th Street) is a viaduct (I think that's what they call it, viaduct?)
I have been all the way to the end of it and back riding with a cop and it was scary as a mother fooker!  Scariest place I have ever been and I have been to E St Louis.

Unless Dean won we are all Fuct but I think Dean said yesterday he hated the lottery and did not need anymore money.

3 winning tickets purchased in FL, TN and CA.

So get back to work
Lots of million dollar winners though, it's a shame I wasn't one of them.
I have not looked but maybe I am ::).  I do remember I had at least 1 ticket with the powerball on it.
i bought one ticket for me and my daughter wanted me to pick two up for her, I didn't get a single number on any of the three tickets, I think someone is trying to tell me just to save my money.
Been telling me that for years but to dumb to listen I guess, fun to dream and probably worth my $20 for the short relief from reality.

Time for some dinner.
I'm gonna have to get that started too. I'm thinking of Tortellini Bolognese.

Well, if anyone is left, have a great evening, Big ass V for the ride home.
Figurado?
No, some badass grand toro or something.  at least a 56 rg.  took me from Wilmington to Dover  about 1hr 20 min.  just right time wise as iot was getting harsh on the last 1-1/2" so I tossed it.  good evening all.  Stop over before couch time and some mind numbing tv.

Trying to read up on the banter, must have led to eye fatigue ... I thought you wrote, "We all need our tata time."  Which sounded quite nice.
Need a nice pair of pillows where to lay down my weary head.  Night all.  Nice haul TR ... had a very nice CyB last night, and always like the LHCOF .. never had the Tat lancero but I'm sure they're tasty.
