New Cop
-------------------------

The new metro cop pulled a speeder who was zipping down Maple Avenue.
"Can I see your license and registration, bub?", the cop inquired.

"But officer," the fellow started, "I can explain..."

"Shut yer trap, bub!" snapped the officer. "You're going downtown
and sit a while till the sarge gets back."

"But, officer, I think you really should know..."

"And I said to shut yer trap! You're going to jail!"

A few hours later the cop looked in on his prisoner and said,
"Lucky for you that the sarge is at his daughter's wedding.
He'll be in a good mood when he gets back."

"Don't count on it," shot back the sap in the cell. "I'm the groom."

That Tito's is some good stuff. When Nate was over a couple of weeks ago, we took down a bottle of that ourselves, other than the one shot my wife had in some oj.
Wow, you drinking TX Vodka, isn't that a sin?
Good vodka is good vodka, even if it did come from the People's Republic of Texas. ;)
At least learn your history, it is the Republic of Texas.
I'm confident with the wording I chose.
Not surprised as you are always confident when incorrect.  Had you said the People's Republic of Austin then you would have been pretty accurate.
I'm not incorrect, because I know it's not actually called that. I was making an allusion. That's a pretty big word, no shame in looking it up.  8)

Morning Chip, Golf and Tony the Buddhist Elf :o
Good morning Native.
Morning sir, how was the Thanksgiving ?
We survived and very few left in Vera to look at or deal with, a nice quiet Thanksgiving for a change. How did your day end up?

The whole lot of them will be out of there after the year, and we'll be back to rebuilding yet again. I like Pettine, I hope he stays, but the GM Farmer is an idiot, he has to go.

Well they are not alone, about half the NFL Teams are in the same status!  Saints, Texans and Cowboys are 3 of them.

Morning CG, you might want to consider some professional help as it appears you might have developed a slight issue.  :o. Standing in line at the liquor store at 7:45 in the morning just does not seem quite right. :). Does the warden know about this ?

I got a couple of things last week but lost several very good deals not knowing you had to checkout immediately which I don't like at all.  I am ok with not being able to save them for a long period but if you make several buys in a day or in a hurry like when I was traveling last week it is a pain in the ass.

Oh, they are the 55s, I just wasn't sure which vintage you wanted  :P  I still feel full from yesterday - office is catering in some pizza, not even sure I can eat a respectable number of slices.
That's right, the 55s. See, just a second ago, I was thinking it was the 77s. Oh well. And you best eat that pizza for those of us who don't get free pizza today!
Shit, it's the 77s, even I forget haha.
Sheesh!
Lets keep our story straight now...
Good mornin Dave
Heck, it is still morning, isn't it.

But as was said before, not a bad resource for some real boutique items that you often can't find on line or in stores.  They also have one of the better cigar of the month clubs, with cigars you really haven't tried and that aren't in house "B" sticks.  Only better club is the one Mr. Mayor tapped into....can't remember the name off hand.

With the exception of the first couple of offerings, the page looks like an A-K listing.
BD should be happy with the Acid offerings if he shows up today.

2 Acid Subculture Mantra (I see allot of people bidding on this one, so I didn't want to be left out.)
1 Four Kicks Sublime (I see allot of you guys smoking this one)
1 La Campina Robusto (Cheap.  I've had one before and thought it was ok.)
2 Acid Toast (Again, allot of people bid on this one so I wanted to give it a try.)
3 Inferno Toro (I know I'm weird, but so far I like the Inferno.)
2 Aging Room M356 Rondo (Again, I just wanted to try one of the Aging Rooms, probably not one of the best thou.)

In order to get the glare off of the cigars I had to photograph them in low light.  They are really not green.

Once again the fools don't fail to amaze me with their bullshit Black Friday chaos shopping mobs.  Nothing new about Black Friday has been recognized for many years but this insanity now days is sickening.
I was out of the house early this morning to go to Lowes at 6:30am. they had LED light bulbs for $0.99, ad potted poinsettias for $0.99.  Also picked up some GE 300 count LED christmas lights for $30 off a set for $19.99.  Here is the beauty of this strategy.  Everyone else is at Best Buy or Walmart, fighting their way around the store. Me, I am one of 6 or 7 shoppers with 12 people to wait on me.  no lines, no hassles was on my way home with everything I wanted, plus another 5% off since i used the Lowes card, at 7:05am.  door to door 39 minutes.

Morning men.  Anyone else find it strange that the Small Batch email promotions contain no links to the actual deals and web page?  Or maybe it's just me.
Morning Bean, hope you had a nice Thanksgiving.

I don't get the small Bach emails.
You're not missing much today.  Their weekend deal is spend a lot of $$ and get various boutique samplers thrown in for free.
Good morning Bean
Morning NFM.  You're at work as well?
Yes sir, pizza just got delivered so I'm trying to get my money's worth into my stomach.  How was your Thanksgiving?
Very good.  We didn't give away our leftovers.

Not my favorite vendor but they do have some different stuff.

Today Only Code blackfriday
Tried looking through their site a bit ago, but they had so many things popping up over and over again that I eventually just gave up.
And a lot of things they are 30% too high on to start with.
Agreed, another reason I eventually gave up.
And by the way, I have no idea what you're referring to here.
When we were at the lounge the other week, you said you had gotten some really good samplers  for twenty some bucks that contained Sobremesa and some other new top end sticks.
Ahhh.  But they're mystery sticks each month.  $20 includes 4 sticks and free shipping:

http://www.2guyscigars.com/Cigar-Authority-Care-Package-411111/
There's another site I get almost daily e-mails from, but don't seem to find a lot of actual deals.
I happen to listen to their podcast, even though they're the competition... Once I actually start recording mine.  ;)  Anyhoo, this care package is really good if you want to smoke along while listening.  I recently got a special edition La Gloria Cubana that was over 12 years old.  Also got my Gueguanse from there.  Only been doing it for a couple of months but have gotten some interesting sticks.

Mother F'r, went to make me a turkey sandwich and an entire untouched half of the turkey breast was cut off the remaining car us so asked the warden if she had already sliced it up for sandwiches.......  No, I sent that home with the neighbors to make sandwiches with. :o :o :o. WTF  ???   Wait a Fuk'n minute we ate almost an entire half turkey for lunch then you sent them home with the other half breast ???   Well we have enough left for a sandwich each.  Chit, did you send them each a bottle of wine and a half gallon of vodka too?
i got grief from the warden for buying a 21lb turkey(OK it was the free one from the supermarket - if you spent $400 in the previous 4 weeks).  But i have leftover turkey for sandwiches, for soup for turkey salad. 3 people and 21 lbs of turkey, I like me my leftovers.  she always gets the smallest turkey she can find.  not his year! 8)

I believe it's more about my curiosity to see why so many people are buying a certain produce.  I also bought 2 of them because I was afraid that if I liked it, I'd be pissed that I didn't buy 2.  But I didn't buy 3 because I was afraid that if I didn't like it, I didn't want to be stuck with 3.  See how I put allot of deep thought into buying an Acid cigar... :)

If I had bought a 21 pound turkey then the neighbors (her friends not so much mine) would have had 12 pounds to take home instead of 6 to go with the 1/2 chocolate and 1/2 pecan pie they took with them.
Sounds like you know where you have to go for new years eve!  Drink all their good booze, then throw up in the potted palm. then bring the leftover caviar home.... 8)
I like the way you think, Flip.

Afternoon here/morning there to you Razmundiz.  How is the cold?
Temps have dropped 20 deg in the last two hours here.  I guess it's finally winter here.
I think you're getting the residual from the cold shoulder TXDave is giving his old lady for giving away all the turkey.

And show up with Verdi, very cheap bubbly, basically Italian wine flavored malt liquor,  think a sort of wine equivalent of Colt 45.

And by the way, I have no idea what you're referring to here.
The fell off the back of the truck cigar of the month club.  It's a family thing.

Hell, just go with the wine fridge right underneath it. Looks much cooler.
Though, the Tupperware has a latching lid. Tough call.
Lowes nearby will check on those but don't think they are Air-tight.

I worked through lunch, going home to some leftover turkey, and homemade cranberry sauce.  there was sweet potato casserole, and stuffing and fresh green asparagus.  That's not counting all the Italian antipasto items.

Happy Black Friday to everyone....!  Well my auction cigars finally made it.  Total price with shipping $53.00.
5 Pack of CLE Conn Corona
1 La Gloria Gilded Age (I just wanted to try it since I'm a sucker for new sales pitches.)
1 262 Ideology Box Pressed (no idea what the hell this is, I must have been drunk that night.)

Hey BD, some really good Acid sales on Cigar Page!

BATON ROUGE, La. – LSU coach Les Miles finally let it out Friday.

Thanks for a great 11 years," he said at the regular Friday meeting of the Gridiron Club booster group, according to multiple Gridiron Club members at the meeting.

"I'll always be a Tiger," Miles said, but added that he was at his last Gridiron Club meeting and that he will not coach the Tigers in whatever bowl game in which they play after this regular season.
