Morning TexDave. When do you think your weather will settle for a bit?
-
I have been on the phone for 30 minutes with the stupid assholes at Keurig (Coffee Makers) trying to get my 4 month old $200 coffee maker replaced. What a bunch of fuckbutts! Build a piece of crap (makes pretty good coffee WHEN IT WORKS but gives constant problems. They are going to send me a free maintenance kit so I don't have to work on it with a bent paperclip every3 or 4 days (per their instructions) but will take 4-7 days to get it here.

Got the names of a couple of realtors in the Charleston area you may consider using to start your search, rather than working blind. My niece is in their group doing rental properties. I'll send you a PM when I'm on my other computer.

Pretty rare for us to have a run of nasty weather as long as this one so Lord only knows but by late May we are usually begging for 80 degrees and rain. Looks like at least another week to 10 days of crazy stuff.

I had the same issue in the beginning. Eventually the problem went away. Just try reseating the water container and then just fill it each time without removing it.

The problem is the "prongs" in the top that puncture the cup and put out the water plug up.

Reliably on those things is unpredictable. I have one at the office which has been working like a champ for years with almost every day use. The one I bought for the wife at home crapped out in just over a year. Can't see ever purchasing another one after experiencing a 50% failure rate.

Simlar here, my son has one and has been working great for almost 2 years but part of the problem is with the newer versions (labled 2.0) the engineering design is all fuct up in the electronics and water delivery system and the short term failure rate is actually far above 50%. They have changed them some very recenctly and they have new model numbers and were just sending people new coffee makers with no hassle but now they hope to make you just go away with crap like a maintenance kit (about a $1.00 item). Piece of crap commie company in Vermont.

LOL, always thought that was an absurd flavor/smell description. I mean, I get it, but usually when trying to describe something I like I go for more positive associations. "Smells like a dairy farm on a humid July day at high noon, in a good way."

Some people prefer that barnyard profile. Good morning, Joe.
My college apartment was near the school's dairy farm. When the wind's blew a certain way... yikes. Close the windows and doors.
LOL, always thought that was an absurd flavor/smell description. I mean, I get it, but usually when trying to describe something I like I go for more positive associations. "Smells like a dairy farm on a humid July day at high noon, in a good way."
Morning, Tony.
I was in Wisconsin in May once, not a smell I look for in something I'm going to smoke
Blew that one...

Morning Raz and JWacky.
Hey there, Dave. Hopefully you're close by this week, and not driving down from Irvine?
-
Morning muchachos. Rather be anywhere else than work today.
Face down in a pile of horse shit? I'd probably choose work. Morning, Bret.
Easy to say when you only work 2 hours a week.
Pot..Kettle..Black. Just sayin'.

Happy Tuesday gents!
Morning, Shaun. Hope you all are enjoying yourselves out here so far. Weather should hold up for the rest of the week but I think rain is in the forecast on Friday... but probably not as much as you're used to seeing back home.
What was that gloomy damp shit this morning? had to move locations for my morning smoke.

Morning Raz and JWacky.
Hey there, Dave. Hopefully you're close by this week, and not driving down from Irvine?
Yup, driving down from Irvine. Figure I'll leave about 3 and catch dinner at Karl Strauss. I'll probably get there a bit before you, give Yellowstar my number in case he will get there before 7.

Ah, the "May gray". Feels good when running in the mornings, but May and June tend to be some of the "worst" weather months out here. That's entirely relative to the weather we have the rest of the year, of course. Just takes a little longer for the clouds to burn off and the sun to shine through. Already getting brighter in the east part of the county.

Geez, that's commitment. I'll pass it along to him. I'll see what I can do about getting there a bit earlier.

Been awesome so far - got some great sun on a bike tour yesterday. Walking some Torrey Pines trails today and then excited to meet up with you guys tonight!

It's decent out here in no-man's-land, but probably still some good cover by the coast.

Sounds good. Manage to find yourself any good beers yet?
I was gonna tell you tonight but may as well now - one of the things we did for the first time this weekend was visit the tide pools in Pt. Loma, at the Cabrillo National Monument. Pretty crazy views of the city on the way out (and if you visited the lighthouse itself, I'm sure), but it was also pretty fun to walk down in to the tidepools. Highly recommended, we all had a great time. If you do go, expect to get a little wet, sometimes you really have no choice but to walk in water depending how much exploring you want to do. Change of shoes at minimum, for sure. Just in case you're looking for more to do...

GFY! It's good, 0 complaints so far! Got in an MF LB PR late last night, was too tired to smoke any more than that - damn bike tour wore my ass out, literally.

Torrey Pines is beautiful, too. Nice that you can do this during the week when the crowds aren't as bad. Wonder if they'll let you walk the golf course, too?

Friday is the only day that's technically unplanned. I know we want to go to a Ballast Point shop and get burgers at Hodads or 50/50 - but the rest of the day is fair game - possibly dinner at Jakes in Del Mar.
We've had some good beers, all new stuff to me - will take pictures of the bottles before I come there tonight. I am going to stop by that liquor store before or after Torry Pines, mind PMing me your fav PB stout and the name of that Marshmallow one?

I know we are going to check out the pro shop, hopefully get a hat and a ball marker. Agreed, it was nice the city was 'quiet' during the bike tour yesterday, make getting around very easy.

Already bringing you a PB Stout so ignore that one.
Garage Brewing Marshmallow Milk Stout is the other. Should be generally available. If Palm Springs Market doesn't have it, I'm sure either Beverages 4 Less or La Mesa Wine and Spirits will. If you go to La Mesa Wine and Spirits, tell Marvin I sent you. He's a nice guy. Since it's fairly new out here (the Garage Brewing beer), I'd call before going if it's something you definitely want to try. But if not there's no shortage of other great beers to try.
