I'm a little disappointed in this cigar, guess I was expecting great things, sweet cedary flavor, touch of pepper through the nose, a bit tight on the draw, and the wrapper is very delicated, beginning to crack a bit, nice tabacco flavors and lots of smoke.

The Bull
-------------------------

A man took his wife to the rodeo and one of the first exhibits they stopped at was the breeding bulls.

They went up to the first pen and there was a sign attached that said,

"This bull mated 50 times last year." The wife playfully nudged her husband in the ribs and said, "He mated 50 times last year."

They walked to the second pen which had a sign attached that said, "This bull mated 120 times last year. " The wife gave her husband a healthy jab and said, "That's more than twice a week! You could learn a lot from him."

They walked to the third pen and it had a sign attached that said, in capital letters, "This bull mated 365 times last year." The wife, so excited that her elbow nearly broke her husband's rib, said, "That's once a day.You could REALLY learn something from this one."

The husband looked at her and said, "Go over and ask him if it was with the same cow."

It would be a better day if the sis in law was coming by but she has to get her hair done, I told the wife I would be willing to style it for her ( bed head) but she didn't like that idea to well.

Most of my place still has standing water, my moms place is much better off in places but the guy she hired to cut her place charged 500.00 and only got half of it cut before the two week deluge came and he has 40 yards he is behind on so I might try to get some of the remains pieces cut this morning before the afternoon rains come today. I was really hoping the guy would work out and save me the trouble but I think it's to much for him to handle also, very hard to find someone willing to cut 30 acres at a decent price.

I bet it is hard to find that sort of lawn service @ a reasonable price.  Plenty of lawn service operations here but they keep raising the prices and don't want to do anything complicated, thus I went back to doing my own.

I'm a little disappointed in this cigar, guess I was expecting great things, sweet cedary flavor, touch of pepper through the nose, a bit tight on the draw, and the wrapper is very delicated, beginning to crack a bit, nice tabacco flavors and lots of smoke.

September 2012,

Costco co-founder and former CEO Jim Sinegal appeared on CNBC Wednesday morning to offer a preview of his speech last night at the Democratic National Convention and explain why he supports the re-election of president Barack Obama.
Appearing live from Charlotte, N.C., host city for the DNC, Sinegal addressed what has become the central theme in this years election: whether Americans are better of today than when Obama took office. Parroting key Democratic messages, Sinegal noted that compared with where things were when Obama took office there has been considerable economic improvement with 29 consecutive months of private sector job growth and that the country is unequivocally better off

Stopped by Costco last night to pick up coffee and see if there was a Lagavulin deal. Nope. They wanted $87 and change for the 16. With the state-rape my out-the-door cost would have been over $100.
May have to work a deal with Joe.

Don't own an 870, I have a Mossberg 590A1 and an FN.   Neither is ever not loaded unless being cleaned but might have to rack one just to enjoy that sweet sound..

Loaded with 2 #1 Bucks and then alternating with Hornaday Slugs.  Mossberg holds 8+1 and  FN is 7+1 - No Rookie Here !

Stopped by Costco last night to pick up coffee and see if there was a Lagavulin deal. Nope. They wanted $87 and change for the 16. With the state-rape my out-the-door cost would have been over $100.
May have to work a deal with Joe.
COMMIES!!!
I didn't get a chance to check it out here.
Costco is a major league Commie controlled company that is for damn sure.
Yeah, but it ain't Costco. It's the commie state I live in.
Are you questioning TxDave's commie detector?  If he says Costco is commie, case closed.
Thank you for the vote of confidence Bean!!!!!   By the way since he took that new job Shaun leans to the left these days so watch out.
Supposedly he leaned to the left before that...or so I've heard.

You want commie?  Then-secretary of state Hillary Clinton sold us out to the Russians as cash flowed into her foundation.

Got to go home and meet the termite slayer.  Later.
Good luck.  Hope to hear a good report from the patio a bit later on.
Could-A-Been-Worse!   No damage inside the walls just the window sill abs baseboard is the good news.  $1000 to treat the house is the bad news.  FYI if you live in termite country - if you add on concrete or stone that attaches to the house as a patio or foundation the ground has to be treated first or the little bastards will use that as an access.

Good afternoon guys, just a drive-by, trying to catch up a bit on the banter after lunch.  Hoping to have a cigar herf later with another little cigar club in NoVA, while watching the CAPS and Nats.  We had a great and unusual sports night in DC where all three professional sports team won: CAPs 2-1 playoff win in overtime, Nats 2-1 in extra innings and the Wizards 113-? also in the playoffs.  Pretty amazing ... never remember that happening before ...

Last night a friend, who sometimes joins me for a cigar on the Rock Bottom patio, brought me a Curivari Reserve Limitado or something like that (very dark, no cello, label was similar to the Liga Privada labels).
I know I've read about them here, looks like a very special smoke.  I had just clipped and lit up a La Aroma de Cuba "El Jefe", so I thought I'd save it tonight.  What beverage would you suggest goes best with the Curivari?  Thanks.

Where we are going to ... they offer free shooters if the CAPs win.  I just happened to be there one night when that happened ... the trays were brought out, little plastic thimbles with red liquid in them, which tasted just like juice box punch, but not as good.

I can't recall what I might have said yesterday that suggested I was anything but a gun-loving, tax-hating, Israel-supporting, limited-government strict-constructionalist who thinks that anyone who believes foreign relations can be anything but thinly-disguised warfare is stoned or nave.

Now, it's true that I think the government shouldn't be in the business of telling humans which humans they can or cannot marry, and it's true that I think the war on drugs is an asinine waste of time, money, and lives, and it's true that I believe the reason we give illegal aliens healthcare is so that they don't bring plagues upon us, and it's true that while I think ObamaCare is a piece of shit I believe the notion that a private healthcare system can accomplish what society needs is pure fantasy.

But I don't think that quite swings me to left of center.  The left side of the line doesn't like all the weapons I own.

Dirty Cocksuckers, price of AR's will skyrocket again.

Senate Leadership Stabs Gun Owners in the Back
-- Loretta Lynch is confirmed as Obamas new Attorney General

Loretta Lynchs anti-gun record

Sadly, the Senate has put its stamp of approval on a person who is expected to try to implement the semi-auto ban, which she supports, by executive fiat.

Apparently, its okay with McConnell and a majority of Senators that Lynch stated, under oath, that she has no problem implementing Obama's unlawful, politically motivated amnesty orders -- even though a federal court has found them unconstitutional.

And Lynch went on to feign ignorance on universal background checks and Operation Choke Point's anti-gun ramifications -- even though she was under oath.

You want commie?  Then-secretary of state Hillary Clinton sold us out to the Russians as cash flowed into her foundation.

Swingin' left yesterday, so decided to swing right today?  Keep us guessing!
Swinging both ways, eh?  This Shaun to whom you refer?  That's what happens when left alone with daytime TV.  Watched one too many Bruce Jenner stories.
We know YellowStar does, but it was Raz I was referring to.   Some of that commie fruit culture he is surrounded with creeping in it seems.  Kinda like TexDave hanging out downtown a little too much.

I certainly never saw you as anywhere left of right!   Around here somebody might just be fuk'n with you. ::). Want some termites to send them?

Now Shaun, he has gone left on us.
Somebody getting fuk'd with around here?  Never, this place is a picture of civility and decorum.
ROTFLMAO!
There some swishy decorator around here?
Perhaps.  Check with the purse holder.  They're probably at Macy's looking at drapes.

They're defining a drink as 1.5 oz?  I'm an alcoholic then.  I drink 4.5 oz a day, day in, day out.

Evening, gents.  Got an Oliva V courtesy of Ken Glass, about 3 oz Glenlivet 12 in a glass.  It's a good evening.
