Boy recently got a letter from Verizon that he owed them $2400 but he has never had an account of any kind with Verizon. Long story short somebody opened an account in his name and bought a couple of iPads and a few iPhones. While it took a couple of hours and several phone calls they did get the problem resolved.Gonna get worse, too, with this Equifax breech.
This credit fraud chit is out of control.

No worry, Equifax is offering free background checks and a great plan for monitoring.
