GMornin'!  We did a little family reunion there a few years ago, nice area!

We really like it. The Emerald coast area between Ft. Walton to Panama city is soft, white sand beach and aquamarine water. Destin, although built up more than it used to be, was/is more the family friendly area. As opposed to spring break destination PC... aka, The Redneck Rivera. ha. Which I've been quite a few times, back in the day.

It was exactly that, just a nice calm and relaxing area.  Rented a nice house a few blocks from the beach, was perfect.

Ha! 5 hours there, and 6 away from KC. We'll just have to make sure we all have our smokes on the beach that night.
