Had one of these before and it was good but can't have that they just had to change it up and now it is not so good.  WTF do restaurants seem to think they have to change things - I know, it is obviously being made cheaper.

I have to disagree.  The "no" part usually is preceded by a long and winding "why the hell do you think you should buy a Corvette" tirade which jumps between current and past grievances, her benefit (lack thereof), and acquaintances/relatives examples which are inexplicably applicable.  Then a back track over some of that freshly plowed ground to eventually conclude with "no".

In my experience, it starts with "no," followed by a demand for an explanation what possessed me to even think about it, followed by all the rest that you describe.  But she gets to "no" first.
