WTF, MFers!

CI deals really sucking today. So, no surprises so far.
So don't buy anything, jackass!

Maybe I won't. Who asked you anyway? GFY!
You did, when you said WTF, MFers

That was a greeting. Like whats happnin'. Sorry for the confusion. A good indication for a question is usually [?] at the end... or [. ?]
Friggin' Southerners!

Well, it's not like Jersey Shore made ya'll look any better, Snookums. Now go GTL yourself.
Are you still mad that the North won the war?

Did anyone really win? I've been to Gettysburg. Not many winners there.
Yes, we did

Way to go Tony. That was 3 hours ago. Glad we waited for that.

In other timely news, the Jaime Garcia Reserva Especial Robustos were on FreeFall yesterday for 10/35.32
I can see the wounds are still too fresh, I'll back off

It's all good. Just glad to see you woke up. Started to wonder if that epidural got crossed up with a lobotomy.
Ha! Actually I was out liquor shopping for OBX next week, spent $750 and we don't buy beer until we get down there

I don't know. You sure you got enough? I mean it is a week.  ;)

What was the spendy item? Really, $750 seems excessive.
It is excessive. No real expensive stuff, bought 1 bottle worth $65, everything else is all median stuff just lots of it. Beyond that the 3 couples each do a "Drink of The Day" which they kep secret and furnish ingredients seperately. At the end of the trip we divide up what's left in blind auction fashion

So, I guess you get 2 days. What's your mix?
We started out 4 years ago doing individuals, so 6 days of DotD plus everything else was a bit much. We toned it down to couples, every other day. This is what we're going with this year - http://www.threeolives.com/recipe/559

Bunch o' downers here this morning.  I'm about to crack one of these ST Pumkings that just arrived from Tim Gervase...
Let me know your thoughts, always looking for a good fall beer.
Never bad to start with the Sam Adams Fall Seasonal Assortment.
I saw the Beer Camp sampler in Joe Canal's today, $24.99

Thanks for getting that done Tony, now GFY!(Tuesday protocol)
No problem.  I was trying to avoid creating a group just for one person but it's fine.  Drastic changes are a coming though.
Automatically blocking all yellow stars and blue balls? Good call, long time coming.
Hence the blue balls.
Ha.  Well played, Tom.
Hi Tony.  Just stopping by to check up on the Hatfields and McCoys.

Hi Tom. It's not that big a deal... or at least it shouldn't be. Nuff said.

I still have a 12 from last fall.  Hope it isn't skunky.

Should be fine as long as you stored it away from sunlight.

The Drink of The Day thing isn't that easy. Over the years we've made a bunch of recipes. Can't be too heavy, have to please both genders, can't be too strong or people will drown in the ocean. We went with a flavor vodka nobody in our group has had. My one BIL is making a cocktail with Fireball, should be interesting. The other couple spent $90 at the store to try 2 drinks and they said both sucked so back to square one

The regular Three Olives is pretty good. Only flavored 3-O I've tried was the Grape.

I take it that bourbon and 7-Up doesn't count...

WTF #2... Robin Williams suicide... Damn.

Never understand why 'common' people get upset over celebrity deaths.  I never knew Robin Williams, so I can't say I was moved one way or the other at news of his passing.  No offense.
I think it's because you're a cold hearted son of a bitch.  Sad when anyone with mental illness, loses the battle.  I would have the same reaction if someone tells me that a colleague with three kids killed himself, even if I never met the person.

Maybe. I can sympathize with his family.  But I can't say that when I heard about his passing I thought any more about it than, "oh".
I'm sad for the loss of an exceptional talent and unique skillset.  No I didn't hang with the guy, but I thoroughly enjoyed his movies, TV appearances and standup.  Like George Carlin, he had a truly unique angle on life and was able to put it in a unique light.  The loss is in what cannot be replaced and the waste of talent that still had more to give.  A good entertainer should not be undervalued as to their service to the larger whole.  Be they musician, artist, actor or performer.

I think they do flavors very well, I used to drink the Grape on the rocks quite a bit

I'm guessing it's fine.  Stored in a dark cool place.  I have some other stuff to finish first and then I'll throw the 12 pack in the fridge.

Believe me, I'm easy. Scotch on the rocks would get my vote
