Guess FEMA Dean did not even check in here on his way to the rescue.

Should make for some great Nut Bus Stories!
I was thinking the same. Is that selfish of us?
No, Dean's mistakes offering entertainment are not selfish of us.
We are giving those mistakes value instead of them being just wasted time (and money).

short and interesting meeting with FEMA, State of Florida Highway Engineer, Levy County Manager, Inglis and Yankeetown Supers, Fire Chief, and Duke Energy official. my idea of Assessment Team apparently offended the locals with the way they've always done things. was called a POS NYer who ought to go back north, and a few other unkind words. I refused to get into a pissing match and calmly as I could explained my plan. apparently they cater to the 'rich' people first, and let the 'poor' wait. I did have Duke Energy, the FD, and the State on my side, but looks like I will ride a desk inputting updates and answering phones as needed.

Probably have a Scorcher right after the Auto-Flip implementation which is right before Beans Hard Drive spins again..

Truth is, that is part of the problem - nobody knows so everybody thinks they are.  They contract some of us out to FEMA and loan us to the State DOT's for hurricanes and I have done plenty of them, it is a giant clusterfuck Brownie!    I refuse to do it anymore after the Rita fiasco.

We had at least 3 clown events in TX yesterday, one was a kid dressed up as the Mad Hatter (by the way today is also National Mad Hatter Day) at a private Corpus  school having  "Disney Costume Day" and someone called the cops.  Locked down the entire Corpus school district facilities most of the day.
