At least there's NFL starting this week...Carolina at Denver - 8:30 PM, NBC Sports Authority Field at Mile High, Denver
So, the looks of this weeks college football schedule doesn't seem to bring out too much excitement. Most will probably be blowouts. Typical of the 'bring the lamb to slaughter', but at least you got paid.Maybe will watch the Penn State .vs Pitt game early... That hasn't happened in quite awhile.A Texas battle of SMU and Baylor at 3:30And the VaTech .vs Vols @ Bristol @ 8 may be the days highlights. What say you, Banter folks?

Good to see you.Howdy BS...!!! Nothing new here other than trying to figure out what to put into the toaster oven...You haven't gotten any of the kids trying to put one over on you for some "supposed" yard work again then?Well yeal, I had to give them a time out the other day. Then I felt bad doing so. They wanted to play the Wii, but it was lunch time. My grandson finally did what he was told, and sat down and started eating his lunch. I had to make my granddaughter stop, and sit down at the table to eat. I told her she could play the Wii after lunch. I swear, I only turned my back for 15 seconds and she had stuffed her whole lunch into her mouth. I was really mad and said, "if you don't settle down I'm going to give you a 30 minute time out in bed." I turned around again (you'd think I'd know better, right?), and my granddaughter was shoveling my grandsons lunch into his mouth as fast as she could... He had food all down his shirt. I yelled, "Ok, that's it, your going to bed...!" They were in shock that grandpa was really going to give them a time out. I put them both in their own beds and went into the living room and put gunsmoke on. While I was sitting there I realized, my grandson really hadn't done anything wrong... But it was too late now. They got back up after 30 min., but I still feel really bad for punishing my grandson. Oh well, once I said they were going to bed, I didn't want to change my mind and let them know they could get away with not getting punished. One of many times he will get punished for not doing anything wrong. Good to get used to I guess.Hey, he'll need something to talk to his therapist about when he grows up.

Hey, Bret... just about time for me to hit the road. Jersey may still be hangin'. Kinda slow today. Guess everyone left after I started talking to myself. Heh.
