Guess Dean is out looking for Gazebo Repair Work this morning.
quite a windy night. hahaha. no power, lawn is a mess of limbs and palm fronds but all is well. clean up begins.
And the screen room?  Or perhaps you haven't made it over to the lady's house yet.
stayed at the ladys house last night. figured a new concrete house was safer than an old tin can of a trailer.
We knew you'd work something out....for safety of course.
Limbs flying this way and that, the sound of things slapping together, everything soaked.  And there was also that hurricane.
Buh-zing!

Clearing up at Deans house.

Current Radar View
Did Hermine deliver the 8" - 10" promised?
Probably close in some areas but nobody died as promised, unless Dean did as he has not checked in.
Hinkle said early reports were that three people were injured overnight, one seriously, primarily in vehicle crashes. He urged people to stay off the roads unless travel was absolutely necessary.

I know it's a stupid question, but what possible reason could you have to going out in your car at the peak of a hurricane?
Out of liquor usually.
That's just piss pour planning. (Before Steve chimes in, I misspelled that on purpose)

CNS... wiseguy. I'll give you +1 for the creative attempt, but you have to have something better by 5 o'clock or you'll have to do it all over again.  ;)

Happy Friday, Fellas...
Morning Steve.  You in the path for anything from Hurricane Tropical Storm Dean?

Only a little darker than normal this morning on the way in. I expect some rain this afternoon. Not quite the strength of Brunswick and Savannah that were closer towards the eye...

Mash looks to be of little interest today. And the Jam... so far I guess I can say I missed the $30 Cabaiguans.  ::)

No. I'm taking the family over to the big river this weekend, so rode the limousine. We won't be able to leave town until about 9pm, so riding the van will give me some time to rest before driving until midnight.
