I almost forgot Happy Black Tot Day!

I will enjoy a Rum Tot this afternoon.
I was disappointed that it was left out of NJDave's history post. Why would they leave something like that out? Only the Shadow knows.

Especially since he was the champion of that information.  Performance Management issues it appears, he probaly needs to attend a Team Building Retreat..

Wasn't it LTG that provided the factoid about Black Tot Day? I get all you Daves confused. You're the topless one, right?

Summer is 2/3 behind us today, sheesh it will be winter before we know it.
On the brighter side just about a month until College Football kicks off.

For over three centuries, until 1970, all Royal Navy vessels would ring out their ship's bells just before noon every day. The famous call, 'Up Spirits' would go out, calling sailors to report to deck and receive their daily 70ml ‘tot’, or shot, of rum.

Some patience my friend.  The site I wanted to post from doesn't allow cut and paste, so I had to settle for an inferior alternate.

Beer was always in the mix as well, but volume storage was a problem.
