And now that I've ranted about that, time to pack it up. Seeing an advanced screening of the new Ghostbusters movie tonight as part of a promotion through work. Get to see if it's as bad as the whining manbabies think it will be, just because it has 4 female leads. Hazzuh!

I think the group would be good. It's the "let's remake everything" shit that goes on in place of an original thought that bothers me. What a money grab... "hey, this was successful in the Xx's. Let's do it again, but this time..."  ::)

...or let's take an old tv show and make a movie... or, wait how about making a tv show out of a movie... BRILLIANT!

"Lethal Weapon" the television series. Please.

That's the problem, that they are trying to remake it in first place.  The only sequel which I've ever seen which was better than the original was "Aliens".  And that is saying a lot, as "Alien" kicked ass.  Of course they couldn't stop there, which was too bad, as the subsequent versions were meh.

Sequels are one thing. Remaking the same exact movie again...

GhostBusters, Footloose, Point Break, RoboCop, Red Dawn, Total Recall, Carrie, etc,etc

Let's have the new SNL crew remake CaddyShack. That made some money.

Later Dave, enjoy the movie.  I have no problem with it being female leads, I just wish it wasn't a remake of the original.  Can't anyone write any original material any more?

A CaddyShack remake?  Now that's just sacrilegious.

No. It's cheaper to rip someone off or remake an existing movie from the film production catalog. Why take a chance? I mean, every "good" movie costs millions of dollars to make.  ::)
