Since Baylor pussy-footed around and only changed Starr's title and Slapped the AD's hand I wonder if the NCAA might step up and actually do something significant since they classified this as a Title IX issue which I totally disagree with, since when is rape a "student discrimination issue"?
While the initial focus was on equity in availability and funding of female sport as compared to mens sports, it also includes:
... maintain that "when students suffer sexual assault and harassment, they are deprived of equal and free access to an education."[54] Further, according to an April 2011 letter issued by the Department of Education's Office for Civil Rights, "The sexual harassment of students, including sexual violence, interferes with students' right to receive an education free from discrimination and, in the case of sexual violence, is a crime."[55]
